Looks like MW2 DLC to me.
Really, should be a perfectly fun game, CoD is great fun for what it is. It's a simple, point and shoot, run and gun shooting game, and that's OK. The campaign's premise is a tad silly, Russia invading Europe and America at the same time, but ultimately what matters is online multiplayer. It probably won't deviate much from the standard CoD formula, but it's hard to argue with the success that the CoD series has had. I imagine it will be good fun, and they'll sell boatloads of copies. However, I don't think I'll be buying this game, BF3, and Skyrim are both coming out around that time, and I'll probably be buying NHL 12 in September.
All that being said, I didn't think I was going to buy Black Ops, but I bought it launch day and was happy with the game. I didn't play Black Ops much (still haven't prestiged, only just got to level 50), but I enjoy it more than MW2. I'm just tired of Call of Duty games, I played CoD 4 a ton, WaW a lot, MW2 a lot, Black Ops a fair bit, and I think the general formula and gameplay is starting to get a bit stale. I like BF:BC2 because it's a good changeup from the CoD series, and it's looking like BF3 will be more of what I love in Battlefield.
When I think about it, I should probably skip this game, considering I'll be buying two other AAA titles (Skyrim, BF3), but in all honesty I'll probably end up buying it anyway, just like I did with MW2 and Black Ops. Actually, I'll probably end up as one of the fabled Christmas noobs. I like Black Ops to shut my brain off and unwind, and perhaps a new flavour of that will be fun with MW3.
