I can't play with you guys often because I only have about 20 minutes to play at a time :grumpy:.
 
Do you guys use the unlock-able dots when using the red dot sight? Or do you just stick with standard?
I have unlocked them all for my Type 95 (my baby, lol) but I prefer using the standard simple dot.

I also just use use the standard dot.

I feel that it has improved me as a player so far. It really encourages me to think carefully and stay alive to reap the rewards, rather than go running in to the battle with my guns blazing like a retard :lol: (I did do this when I used the Support Package).

And the crosshair selection thing has gotten a far better selection of choices (choices that you can actually use accurately in a game) but none can beat the traditional single dot in my opinion. Also it's no biggie that we can no longer select the colour or the glass or dot because clear and red works best for me, too. Red doesn't seem to blend in with your surroundings like other colours do, while a clear glass doesn't mask your view.
 
Are the MSR and AS50 worth taking along with me or are they relatively close to the L118A and Barrett? I'm not smart enough with snipers to tell which are better.

I like to have plenty customisation available, but not if it makes my aiming skewed!
I found it cool, but practically worthless. Nothing more than a gimmick.

Not to worry though! Activision (or IW, whatever) will give us purchasable customisation items available from both the PSN Store! 99p per scope customisation! *Sarcasm included
 
I haven't traded my copy of MW3, but I have lent it to a friend so he can test his connection speeds.

I have gone to the darkside for the time being....... it was a long and arduous journey, but the rewards were satisfactory.....

I shall return.

@ bevo, HC is a double edge swored.

You can be killed as quickly as you kill. Trick to HC is not to get killed and it doesn't just take a shot or two. It all depends on what the other player has as a perk or any other special equipment that they might have at the said time. Silenced guns sometimes require 4 shots and range makes a difference too. Also, some of the players out there can aim pretty darn quick and accurate in HC, so not all apples are the same :dunce:. HC I view more realistic way of play vs healing your self from taking one on the shoulder and head.

LOL random spray for kills...no way.

Finally finished the Leathel Semtex challange last night and with an added bonus, got the 25 kill payback with Semtex emblem :). Got lucky 3 times sticking the other team with a Semtex and having one of their mates next to them. It was fun sneaking around and catching someone off guard and sticking the Semtex on their backs. Lots of misses though :yuck:

Now for the dreaded C4 challange...stupid team mates destroying them is driving me nuts! Need to scheme up a new way of using them.

If any one wants to add me to friends list for PS3, please put a note of GTplanet or just GT...hate getting invites from random little kids :grumpy:.

Mainly do HC TDM or Domination though.

BTW: Any one do the stupid Smoke Grenade Challange? Been trying that on Domination to no end with only 3 kills!!! This going to take a life time it seems.
 
After some testing I have came to a conclusion about the Type 95 and Rapid Fire.
Rapid Fire doesn't actually shorten the time between the bursts of fire like everyone says it does, it actually increases the fire rate of the 3 bullet burst itself.
After some testing, I found that Rapid Fire mainly helps you out at moving targets at longer ranges. Rapid fire doesn't help much at close range as many assume.
 
I don't play multiplayer, is that weird?

It's a nice break from schoolwork stuff-play campaign on recruit, stress relief via free pewpews. Favorite level so far is Mind the Gap, except for the ending because it is ;_;
After that, the post-volk capture level with the Air support and then holding the bridge is tons of fun aswell :D
 
I love all the stealth missions really. 'Specially Resistance Movement and Hostage Taker. Loved 'em!

That frees-tyler guy said that 'use a sniper or **** off' so I got bored, used an MSR and it turns out he sucked. Still, a quad feed throwing knife is cool :D

Depends on if you are going to continue to play the game frequently. There is no point losing all of your guns and perks if you are only going to visit the game occasionally.

Whatever you find is superior to your style of gameplay. It has been repeatedly suggested that the Type 95 is the most superior primary weapon in the game in most conditions, though.

I am really trying hard to get my K/D ratio above 2 at the moment. It currently sits a fraction above 1.9 (I can't remember the actual reading).
It's funny, in CoD4 it was somewhere around 0.8, in MW2 is was somewhere around 1 and in MW3 it is somewhere around 1.9. :confused:
MW3 fits my gameplay style better than the previous games, although I still prefer CoD4 without a doubt. I know I keep bringing this up all the time, but I wish Activision would make a remodel of CoD4, and implement some newer features (final killcams, assist points, etc).
 
You're KD's so high because you use the 🤬 OP Type 95 :sly: I bet you use the FMGs Akimbo as well :lol:
 
LOL. guys, i havent been playing mw3 much lately. only gone up to 63 when i was 59 playing two days ago. game has been quite boring. cant get good killstreaks and lagging out many games. havent used cod elite in a while either.
