Is Think Fast kill an enemy with a tac nade? Direct impact in hardcore might do the trick, especially if they're wounded.
 
Good idea. I'll try that.

Learned that a silenced USP is a one hit kill close range, as well as the direct impact. So throwing my stun grenade at a quickscoper (why he was in HC, I don't know) got me a one hit kill. Oh, the irony :lol:.

I don't count when I'm on the way to my MOAB, it makes me nervous. After I get OMA killing is really easy. The only way you can really get killed is from behind.
 
Thank 🤬 they're adding ricochet back into the hardcore modes. Took them long enough ...

I'm currently busting out a 4.3 win/loss ratio with the group I guys I usually play with. 2.11 K/D from 99% only playing Search and Destroy also. :)

In MW3 I'm 1.91. It's frustratingly hard trying to raise the bar just that little bit further...
I only play sabotage and some games I'll get twice as many deaths as kills while some games I get amazing killstreaks. I'm very inconsistent, and that goes with pretty much anything I do, too.

Haha I know I all of a sudden became really good at Black Ops averaging a 5+ K/D :P. Mine on Modern Warfare 3 is 1.8 probably lower now. I don't even try anymore, last time I played I ran around with the crappy USAS12 and the Javelin.

I got my K/D vandalised when I tried to get the 40 kills with shotgun attachment challenge on the SCAR.
And I always try :).

Haha I never used that under-barrel except on MW2 and I'm guessing they nerfed it cause of it's range it used to have. I always got to mad if I actually try so I just said 🤬 it, I'm done trying. :P
 
Still, that's my first ninja defuse on MW3, not including one on Demolition where I got killed straight afterwards :lol:

Get your opponent frustrated. Frustration and anger leads to weakness, weakness leads to mistakes. :)
 
Oof, SMAW kill at Seatown, set jeep on fire, Jeep blows up next to my team mate a few moments later (how many people go and use something explosive that's burning for cover? Too many) and I end up dead.

Ricochet is much needed, but damn that's annoying, not much else they can do really. Any other different method with exploding things would get exploited.

Still enjoying the game massively though.

Also, has anyone ever called in a Stealth bomber at the same time as someone on the opposition? I did such at Hardhat, their stealth bomber got 3 kills and mine never even went. I'm wondering if theirs went slightly first and somehow cancelled it out/killed mine?

It's not the fact it missed either, there was 3/4 of them in the area I targeted, and it's Hardhat, where a stealth bomber wipes out half the map.

Well guys, I must say that I have been playing MW3 since day one... and me still no likey. I thought that eventually once I learned the maps that I would come to enjoy it, but this has not been the case. They absolutely ruined sniping. There are NO 'pure' sniping maps, and all the other ones have so much crap littered throughout that you can't even get a decent sight line for long shots. Plus they made the .50 cal sound like a .22 (blasphemy!). I will say that I really enjoy Kill Confirmed, but other than that...

I just played a session of MW2, and boy it feels good to be 'home' again!
Goodbye MW3. Maybe I can trade you straight-up for Driver SF?
 
I'm getting close to not caring about my K/D. Also, I'm kinda starting to be able to tell how many people live behind the TV playing CoD, and it pisses me off. It ruins the fun for normal people who want to play with normal people and not get quickscoped from across the map and get killed by a Pave Low or spawn trapper half the times I spawn.
 
I think the Type 95 is a little worse now than what it was before. A week or so ago it took 1-2 bursts to kill someone. Now I find that it takes 2-3 or even 4 at long range.
Maybe it's just me complaining over nothing but if this continues I'll maybe switch guns. The ACR looks like a beast.
 
Just got to level 42 on survival. With someone that's relatively terrible. Anybody wanna try to top that?

I think IW patched the 95 and Akimbo FMGs because they were over powered. Was in 1.07 or 1.06 methinks.

IW barely nerfed those. I'm still getting beat by FMG9s and they just made the hip fire worse on the Type 95.
 
I got killed some FMG guy a few times in a row and finally got killed by him after he went in last stand, so I messaged him calling him an Akimbo noob. His reply? "Just cuz u suk"
The 🤬? The only way he killed me was in last stand, and I killed him several times before with the skill (or lack if it) of dropshotting. It helps :D
