The packages are pretty lame, if I'm honest. I expected a couple interesting things, but it's just one title and one emblem. There's better looking/more interesting titles and emblems unlocked just through challenges. I've decided that when I do prestige I'm grabbing a class and bringing over the ACR and Assassin, if I'm able to use 2 tokens to bring gear in one prestige.

I was going to do the same, but I'm not sure if I want the ACR or the CM901.
My K/D is 0.01 better with the ACR. But that's probably just me getting better at the game.

Keep the ACR, the iron sights on the CM901 are horrid :yuck:
Also, I've invited Gogatrs, Sureboss, Player, Cowboys, TankAss, Legendary and CAM to the clan on Elite but only Icarus and Vash have joined. I'm not too sure how you get the invite though, so you'll have to ask them...

I saw the invite, but when I clicked accept it gave me a 404 error. So I'll try again later or tomorrow.

Yarp, I'll join later. Be good to get regular games going with you lot, though lag is something to consider. Legendary joined me and my regulars (UK based) and had 1 bar...Probably do-able with the NA lot.

My win ratio is about 3 with regular lot, but playing alone brings it down so much. I literally have no idea how some people go 3-18 or worse. My K/D in HCTDM is about 1.6, which I'm happy with as it's slightly higher than what I was doing in MW2 post-PSN hack.

Me and my team was crushing a team in HQ, they didnt even try to take over HQ, looked like they thought it was TDM and after the match they bragged about how good KDR they all had
If all you want is high KDR then play TDM! Too many players like that on mw3..

I went solo for a couple hours and got my K/D about 60 kills over 1.00. My G36C is now level 27 and I'm level 65, and I got the challenges for 75 Predators and 30 Attack Helicopters tonight. I wish there were more effective, low-level killstreak options.

I like the idea behind the Support package, but only having four, five, and then eight kills as "low" killstreaks defeats a lot of the purpose; I enjoyed throwing up UAV, Counter UAV, and then Predator (three, four, and five kills respectively) in MW2. Whenever I stop playing Battlefield 3 long enough to play some MW3, then it is likely I will run just UAV and Counter UAV with the Support package.

Since i predominantly play HC these days, i think i need to have a good luck at my Strike Packages. Since a majority of HC players run with Blind Eye and/or Assassin, many of the packages are next to useless. The amount of times i've thrown up a Predator only to have no highlighted enemies to aim for, and ended up aiming for any moving target - which more often than not ends up with me killing a team mate.

Using Assault Packages at the moment but might look into the Specialist Strike Package - the perks one. Enhanced abilities > packages that are almost useless.

I like to hold my predator back, there are many maps where I may move, get shot at, know what building they're in or near but know I can't fire at them (many at Bakaara) and then release the predator. Knowing maps from above helps too.

Look in to the support streaks too. I normally run UAV, SAM and Remote Sentry on my classes which have support. I've yet to dabble in the Specialist packages. Can someone explain to me how it works?

It replaces Air drop, UAV etc with extra perks on top of the 3 you've already selected for your class loadout. ie you can have Blind Eye and, up until when you next die, Sleight of Hand too. Or Assassin and Overkill - two perks that usually occupy the same slot.

At least that's my understanding of it.

LOL...glad I am not the only guilty one who has done that . Did that yesterday at Seatown and thankfully the other player just said "whats up with that!" and let it be. But, I did check to make sure the other team had all players alive before using it....some were in buildings and only went after what was moving on the map since you dont get much air time! :yuck:

AC130 is even more difficult now a days! Only got 4 kills out of it in 2 days! Though not sure if I should fire based on what the commentary you hear on the background. Says "FIRE NOW", but I dont even see anything moving. Maybe the game see's the Blind Eye user? Going to have to just keep firing and hopefully no team mates die.

Anyone jump 30 feet to get the pushing daisy challenge? Seatown has a watering hole. Finally got that last night

You specify three additional perks to gain the use of at two, four, and six kills (alternatively, one, three, and five kills with Hardline). At eight kills (seven with Hardline), you gain every perk.

I was in a party with some classmates on Seatown and I told them to all jump in it. I lol'd when they said, "Hey, a challenge!"

I just got my G36C to level 30. Another grind from 30 to 31. I just got 38,706 XP in one game though :D. I'm ready to try out the MSR I just got and get to the AK47 and FAD.

🤬! I would have had three Attack Helicopters in one game, but twice I got killed by the game magically lagging right before I got two of them. There better not be lag hack crap in this game.

I'm really liking the MSR from the one game I played with it. I don't know how I'll decide which 2 or 3 guns to take along when I prestige!

GAME OF MY LIFE: 32-2, 3 Attack Helicopters in one life. I had to be really close to a MOAB, cause my streak was 32 haha.

Sorry leo and Icarus, I had to go to dinner. Will be on later though. I was 20-7 in the middle of that game! I'm so pumped about the last one :D.

Yeah CAM, that game was crazy. I was something like 33-12 and Leo was right up there with us. I was like, "how the heck did CAM go 32-2, I didn't see him all game." Then there was the game on Downturn, I call in 2 care packages and both are I.M.S. So with the one I earned I had 3 of them thrown around the map. I might have got 3 kills with them.

If I do hop back on it won't be until later, there's lots of hockey on TV plus a basketball game.

I stalled out for the night at level 72 with a gold camo on my G36C. I'm trying to get into the M60E1 but I can't choose which gun to use from here on.

Has anyone tried Akimbo G18's? I would like to know if they are any better than the Skorpions before I run around using it.

I decided to try out the 118A sniper, and I am using how a sniper rifle is supposed to be used, at long range. Very fun. Also, to prevent the temptation of being a no scope or quickscope ******, I don't have quick draw on the class.

Coulda, shoulda, woulda, shame that something like that happens in a matter of seconds .

Let me ask you guys something.
Do you think normal, or hardcore takes more skill as a player, to rack up some big games.

I am much, much better at playing the regular way. It seems like in HC as soon as anyone sees me they just start spraying and one bullet catches me and I'm dead. Rarely do I go back and watch a video and everyone lined me up and took a good shot. They almost always see me and just start shooting and turning at the same time. In regular I alway seem to get the better of most of the gunfights I get in, because I'm decent at lining someone up quick and landing multiple shots. In seems like in HC it's just way to easy to land that one shot. I'm leaning toward regular at taking more skill as a shooter, but HC is alot harder, at least for me to rack up the big kill streaks.

I play with 2 groups of people. One group is only HC and the other never plays HC. With the non HC group we just ended a 23 game win streak and they swear by the regular mode, but the HC guys will not play it at all, because they say it's too hard to kill people, but I never go on any types of win streaks like I do with the other guys.

I get bored when standing in a gunfight waiting for both us to each finish our clips to find out who died. It's not harder imo, as it requires a different style and if you're used to playing HC, then you'll need time to adjust. I just have no interest in the amount of bullets it takes to kill people.

Each to their own, though.

Part of me feels the same way, I just do so much better when it's not hardcore. I just go for the chest and up in the regular, and it usually only takes a few hits. I really don't like how HC just pretty much lets you use a sub machine gun, and just because it fires so fast it's the best gun. It really takes away from each guns strengths. Just pull the trigger and start swinging around and the guy is done for. I do though like how there is a minimal HUD.

What's wierd is I always want to play the most realisitc of any game mode there is, and HC is probably more toward that, but I just seem to like the other better. I guess I have BF3 for a little more realism and strategy, maybe that's why I like the regular mode in COD better. It gives me a break and I don't have to worry wbout being shot so much.
