What does I <3 dome mean? I also hear alot of people complain when village gets picked. That's by far my favorite map. I really wish the would get away from all of the urban wasteland type of maps, and have some more outdoor jungle, or forest maps. All you ever see in games is urban towns destroyed, and there is very little vegetation anywhere.

Village is one of the better maps for sure. 👍

Carbon and Outpost suck the most. Outpost slightly more than the other. Thankfully people tend to vote against either when the choice arises.
 
The long range map sounds promising but does the game really need another CQC, urban SMG fest? Yeah the overall theme of the game is urban combat but it would be nice to see something a little more open.

Arkaden is by far the worst map. I can't stand it.

Why? Fight for the mall, it seems just like Terminal to me. Arkaden, Village, Fallen, and Dome are my favorites. And I have a total of zero kills with SMGs or the confounded Striker as well :lol:.

I really like the prestige emblems. The whole reason I stayed at #2 in MW2 was because the 3rd emblem looked like a flower, and I like #3 this time. My least favorite is #2, which I'm almost done with 👍. I think I'm just gonna get to the 40 Reaper and 150 Attack Helicopter mark (end of V challenge; I want the titles) and then prestige again when I get there. I'm gonna take the ACR this time, I just golded it a few minutes ago and am getting good with it :).

Unlocked the Akimbo FMG9 and now I can see what the fuss is about, they are completely overpowered. They need to have some sort of mobility and reloading time penalty, as with sleight of hand they reload near enough instantly, and they do not hinder your movement or aiming speed at all (Infact compared to my primary weapons, it improves it).

I don't think they should be nerfed power or fire rate wise, otherwise then the single variants of the weapons would become completely useless. I think if Akimbo took up a perk slot instead of a weapon attachment, that would be enough of a penalty to deter their use. But as things stand, they are far too strong. The map layouts only make them stronger.

Also, if anyone thinks some proper BS happens in regards to lag, here is why:

P.S. Akimbo FMG9s FTW! Screw the lag - nothing can beat these. I walked on a room on Bakaara yesterday with 3 people all looking at me and killed them all instantaneously.
 
Oh okay. I think I've gotten killed one kill short of a Chopper or Reaper 5 or 6 times the last couple days.

You ever feel like you can't get into a lobby with people even close to your skill level? Every game today and yesterday I've been with people that have been throwing up high killstreaks incessantly and its really not fun. I really wish there was a skill level matchmaking system, some games just make me wanna snap the DS3. The "bros" can go quickscope and MOAB each other while us normal people can have fun.

Hey, how do I join the clan? Doing the levelling up as a clan thing looks cool, I didn't know you could do it without buying the Premium service.

You can start a clan without having Premium Elite but you need the Premium service in order to level it up.

As for the killstreak spam that can happen - Stinger. From the times of MW2 I made sure to ALWAYS have a class or two with the Stinger missile launcher. They're even more useful in this game since destroying something, even a UAV, adds a "kill" to your streak.
 
I just figured that out today, it helped me get out of my buzzkill slump. The UAVs are just hard to locate in the sky unless you're on Village or something similar. I'm less than 10 Choppers away from the Expert title and just got the Reaper Expert title, although it says AGM which isn't quite as cool as "Reaper." I also got the 5 kills with one Predator challenge done, which I was never able to accomplish in MW2. I was disappointed that there was no "Grim Reaper" title like in MW2, that would have taken the spot of my SCAR title.
 
Yeah the UAVs are definitely harder to spot in this game than in MW2 and Black Ops. The tall buildings on most of the maps don't help either.
 
The Advanced UAVs are cool looking, like little Stealth Bombers. I've almost gotten to 500 kills with the Predator, so I guess that'll be my only gold title. Attack Helicopter may get there, if people stop shooting down every single one I throw up. I think I have a hair short of 360 kills with that. I almost got my first 40 kill game today, I had 39 and was in the process of shooting #40 when the game ended. I got the 10 kills with one killstreak challenge done that game.

Fun way to get Helicopter points with the Stinger? Shoot down Care Package Helicopters, trollololol ;).

Very interesting... This happens to me a lot. Come to think of it, not in the last two days, when my game has improved.

They have addressed a lot of this via some patches. I've not noticed anything that blatant since I've been playing, and I generally have 4 bars. Keep in mind that video is about 2 months old.

Yep it comes and goes. They fixed it for a while (for me anyway) - one title update on Xbox I played 95% fine for about 2-3 weeks. Just recently, once they added another title update to be able to hot fix tweak the compensation on the fly, it's literally been on and off whether it is fine or not, as if they're tweaking it all the time. It's better than it was but recently it has turned to dog turd again...

I have a friend who lived in an area where his connection has about 50-60ms ping through speedtests, and he would consistently play fine. But now he's moved house to a Virgin Media connection where he gets about 10-15 ms ping through speedtests, he is absolutely fuming with rage about how much worse it is for him. Randomly it will be fine but then absolutely crap again. :(
 
Whilst my internet speed may not be great, my ping on the PC version of MW3 is fairly low (20-30ms) and I have a consistent 4 bar connection. I remember playing the PS3 version of BlackOps on my old connection at home where I was getting 80-100ms (2 or 3 bars usually), and getting 10+ killstreaks in every other game.

Sure i'm playing MW3 on PC and I was playing BlackOps on PS3, but the difference in my competitiveness is quite astounding considering I would rate myself better on the PC.
 
I got a hateful message earlier, partway through a game of Domination. Dude said I was lucky I wasn't in his face or he would have knocked me out because i was a cheater. Now, I'm sure most of you know I absolutely despise cheaters and laggers, and I have the decency to leave a game if I'm teleporting all over the place. I have no idea what it was that I was doing that made him think I was cheating, but if I was I sure as heck would have made sure I did better than 41-20. The whole thing made me laugh.
 
Joined a lobby where everyone was either noob, quickscoping, LMGing or a mix of the three. Got up to an Osprey Gunner without using my other two killstreaks although I didn't use it because I ended up getting a few kills away from a MOAB. Didn't get it though because the game ended :(
 
I got to 500 kills with the Predator, and found out that the only streak that gets a reward after 500 is the AC-130. IW has apparently always been high on that, what with the early emblem in MW3 and the cool spinny emblem in MW2. I just have to cross my fingers and hope my kills don't reset when I prestige like my SMAW ones did. I'm halfway through level 79, about to get to 3rd prestige.
 
The emblems unique to MW3 don't look that good to me. MW2 had better looking emblems, MW3 has better looking titles.

Been messing around in Hardcore Domination with a silenced USP. Good fun trying to be stealthy and flank around behind the enemies. Sure I still get sprayed a lot but not as annoying since I can drop people in two shots. Just trying some different ways to play the game, I've already kind of lost interest in the multiplayer. Might be time to return the game to my cousin. Borrowed it from him since Christmas and he still doesn't want it back.
 
If the game doesn't start giving me even half decent teams, I'm going to quit. The number of games lately where I join, and find I'm the only one with a KD above .4 or attempting to capture points blows my mind.

At least 4 times in every domination game I see a few people walk by a domination point, only to run straight into enemies in cover.
