Then why even bring up what the Army teaches!? Lol. Regardless, I am pretty sure the Army doesn't teach you to sit in a corner in the crouch position aiming down the sights.

And you are exactly right... It is a video game for fun. So why the hell would you want to sit in a corner for 30 min like your life actually depended on it?

The wonder of the tactical button layout. Crap for knifing people but you leave them shooting at air lol.

The people who swear at you and call you names are the ones who think their life depended on it.

Thats why mute is the most essential button on online shooters, fighting games and racing games lol

I normally use Portable Radar but if I see a campfest, I switch the class to something with Recon and Concussions.
Simple counter-tactic.
Also, does anyone think Assassin to be too OP? It shouldn't be invisible to the Portable Radar considering that takes ages to unlock (w/o a Prestige Token) and Assassin's only a level 22 unlock. Not the HBS though, because that's unlocked early.

Assassin isn't OP at all, especially when you consider how good Hardline Pro is for the same spot. Don't forget Assassin don't make you invisible to Predators, etc, and doesn't silence your foot steps.

A lot of people I've found are way, way too dependent on the Radar and HBS and don't rely on their eyes and ears enough. I blame Halo and its stupid, stupid radar system, along with many people not playing old CS where the radar only showed your team mates positions, and didn't make life extra easy with red dots for enemies using loud weapons, etc.

Honestly, if anything is overpowered, it is Slight of Hand Pro.

I think it's that they teach you to go prone and wait for someone to come into your line of fire - rather then running around and potentially getting killed.

I'm probably one of those people who relies on the mini-map radar a lot. Not to the point of it being a detriment, but I do keep track of who is where almost constantly. My biggest problem is getting tagged in the process of tossing a grenade. I swear it happens once or twice a match.

Had a horrible game earlier. Some idiot on my team went 5-25 in Kill Confirmed. I swear he had upwards of 15-20 deaths every game he was in. You'd think, if you're that bad, you'd either quit or realize what you're doing isn't working and find something that does work.

I complain because it makes for a boring game, not because I can't address it in my play. I very rarely have a KD under 2.5 in most games, and closer to 4 in TDM matches.

Don't confuse complaining the inability to handle it.

Exactly.

Who says I was talking specifically to you. You must think your important. Dude it was a general statement man.

You need to chill.

So that's what we do in Iraq and Afghanistan? Dudes all throughout the country laying in the prone waiting for the enemy to walk in front of them? Come on man. Last time I checked trench warfare has been outdated for almost a century.

And again, it is a video game, an extremely unrealistic one at that. Your life does not depend on what happens on headquarters in a call of duty game.

I mostly use the radar to keep track of where my team is, and if they are disappearing in a certain area. Where ever the team isn't at is where I go because I assume that is where we are getting flanked.

I think you need to chilll because your way off base.

Exactly.

Ya, I am way off base. In fact I EAS'ed almost 4 years ago.

You guys want to bring up real world tactics for a game that is anything but realistic. Get a clue dude.

ooo wow almost the same time I did I was simple stating to people why would they complain about a certain style or tactic of playing MW3. Remember you started with me I had no beef with you. you really are off base and obviously take this way to seriously. whatever dude feel big and bad if you want to your on a freaking gaming forum. troll

Had some good fun with C4 last night, I went for the counter C4 challenge, after I shot a pack and killed 3 in 1.

Just layin' in the bushes, pointing at the pack, just a little closer, just a bit, silenced shot, and a bang. You are dead.

I even got How the ?, Someone lay on the ground with a laptop, I tossed the pack at him, shot, and got the kill + challenge. 👍

Ha, oh god no. I think he had 600 points in that 5-25 game. The only mode he was top 3rd in was Domination.

Yeah, some people are just terrible... for instance in Kill Confirmed.

Which happened to be a Ground War game. It just never felt I needed team mates that were useful.

Oh, and I've had where our team lost a Dom game on Arakaden where I got a MOAB. Don't ask me how they did it, but probably had something to do with not capping points. Ever. Even when I was capping them.

We lost one of the games that I got a MOAB on. It was Seatown Domination. The other team capped points as much as they could, and after getting the MOAB I tried the same thing. No one else on my team were bothering to capture the points though :grumpy:

That is why you always try to play with as many friends as possible when you can.

Just had a monstrous GW Domination game on Interchange.

71 - 4 - 12

MOAB part way through as well, and 4900+ points as well.

Finally got to level 76. I think that when I get to level 80, I'm gonna get the gold ACR camo then may actually prestige. Then use the prestige token to unlock the ACR.

You don't keep unlocks or camo on weapons when you prestige, even if they are unlocked. Just in case you didn't know.

I don't really get the race for camo's. Because it isn't. You just need to shoot long enough with the same gun to get the gold camo. And I only use Hex camo. :D

I only use Winter. Elite Premo FTW :D
I don't really see the point of getting to level 31. I don't even like Gold Camos, it looks tacky compared to stuff like Blue, Red and Snow...

You get the maps at a discount (the reason why the price is high), a Winter camo (love it :D), the Title and Emblem and the ability to win real life stuff. I can't wait for Overwatch, looks pretty good. Unfortunately none of my friends with Xboxes have Elite Premo so I can't play on it :(

I know. Yeah, now that I'm thinking about it, I won't go for gold.

Just played for another hour. Quickly got to level 78, thanks to specialist. I kept getting more then 10,000 experience from it per game.

I've been screwed over. I got nothing.

Turned on my Elite title, and there they are, Title, emblem and camo.

Started using Care Packages, first game I got 2 Pave Lows and a Sentry that killed a crap load of people trollololol . Only about 100 kills away from 1000 with the Predator.
