Why all the hate on XBOX? It is used for MLG stuff, and it a larger player market, with a better social system, by far.

PSN or SEN is just stupidly cumbersome to do anything with. Want to invite a player? Have to add them. But wait, there is a max size to your contact list, so you have to delete people if you are popular. Then you have lost player's in party, crap party chat, etc.

From a social perspective, Sony has no god damn clue what they are doing.
 
You don't have to add them to invite them. You just need to look at the players you've played with, and you can invite them.


But yeah, Psn is still a bit on the suckie side.

I'm talking about for streamers wanting to do stuff with fans. Can't just send an invite to a user name, you have to be able to get options on the name, from what I recall.

Sony can't build interfaces to save their life - the whole PS3 experience is generally cumbersome and a hassle. Want to change the clock, while in game? IMPOSSIBLE.. Want to adjust some audio settings while doing anything else? Nope.

Want to delete a bunch of messages? Yeah, have fun with that.
 
Even better, try to type a message while loading up a game.

As much as I hate to say it, I agree. That's where Xbox has us beat.

I'm a giant ps3 fanboy but the user interface is terrible and it's not even close to the functionality that xbox has. Ouch that hurts.:yuck:

I almost got my first 50 kill KC game. I got to 47, and went a minute without a kill. I was so mad :lol:. The AK is so good, and I never use a token on it. I might should.

For some reason I seem to enjoy MW3 more than the past CODs. This is by far the most I've gone in any of them. Plus it seems like you level up a lot more quickly than in the previous games.

You do level up much more quickly in MW3 than Black Ops. I slugged through Black Ops for a year trying to get to 14th prestige so I could get gold camo for my guns. On MW3 I'm already on 5th prestige and my last prestige took longer than the previous simply because I was messing around with game modes like Infected.
 
Yeah, I played until about June of 2010 at the pace I'm playing now when MW2 came out (I spent less than 10 hours on Black Ops) and only got to 2nd prestige. It was a fun game, but I sucked hard at it. MW3 is more fun, and I'm good at it. I'll go 3:1 K/D on most KC games when I try, and I'm already high 4th prestige about to go again.

I'm 72 on 7th prestige :odd:

Otaku, I don't even own an XBOX, let alone have Microsoft paying me anything.

I am, however, studying computer science with the intent of going into the computer human interfaces. Which means I do care about user experience stuff, and MS is beating Sony massively in terms of the social experience. And in terms of actual usability.
 
Chickens like the ones in Seatown don't die when you call in a MOAB. :grumpy:

Started using Assault stuff again. Well, sometimes. Anyhow, I figured since the Attack Helicopter sucks, and I can generally manage a handful of kills on my own, might as well go Predator > Reaper > AC-130. Quite a bit of fun on the right maps, certainly not on something like Arakaden though :dopey:

Also, fiddled around with some of the other ARs. Quite like the G36C, but mostly with RDS and Kick. Just seems to drop people fast and the RDS does something for I'm not quite sure about. The MK14 is, obviously, awesome sauce and extremely satisfying when you get a headshot.
 
So I've had MW3 since the end of 2011 and over the weekend I must of been ill or maybe it was because I wasn't drinking, but fired it up on my PS3 and played some MP for a few hours. :scared:

I'll never play that game ever again and just stick with BF3. :lol:
 
So, I made several people annoyed today on MW3. I was playing drop zone on Arkaden, just shooting down air support, so I was just waiting in the truck at the loading dock with a riot shield and SMAW. The drop zone had changed so that it was right next to the truck. I kept getting points from inside of it and at one point, had 4 members of the enemy team shooting me. Too bad one of them was smart enough to jump in the truck too and shoot me in the head.
