We should be able to run around with two secondaries instead of just 1P, 1S or two primaries. I wouldn't mind running around with an MP9 and Magnum :p
 
I find running around with a pistol with tactical knife hilarious. Especially when the other team is filled with n00bs and quickscopers.
 
I just wish the shotguns had a bit of practical range. I mean i can't kill anyone further than 10 ft away before they get me. They could've at least tried to make them closer to realistic with range.

Just keep on shooting until you get the Range proficiency.

It's crazy how we see two completely different things, while playing the same game. I always think it's stupid how far away I get killed by shotguns. I wish they would lower the range of them. :) Another thing is, I know someone who has been shot with shot from a shotgun and it wasn't a one shot kill. The seem to over powered to me too. If it was a one shot kill form a slug i would understand.

But if yo look at shotguns a full load of buckshot is deadly at 20 yards no problem. That's a bit much for these games however they could do better than 10 feet. And slugs would be a horrible idea, everything would be one shot kills.

Try combining it with the Mp9, or if that isn't enough, use the Overkill perk, and run around with 2 primary weapons.
 
Shotguns are not not underpowered in this game. The fact that people can do well running around with a Striker and Akimbo FMGs kind of attests to that. The maps are just so small...

This. On most maps the Striker is a pretty good weapon. Especially when you get to maximum proficiency.

I'll play around with overkill. I almost forgot it was there.
 
I really hate Assassin now. Only noobs use it as an initial perk. It is fully acceptable on a sniper or anti-air class though.

I have it on every class of mine. My philosophy is shall I allow the other team to see me with UAVs which anyone can get and are in the sky at least 5 times a match, meaning I'm much easier to find and kill??? Nah I will use assassin.
 
I think I will stick to assassin, UAVs can't see me and I can have a silenced skorpion as my secondary weapon.

Plus that and blind eye are the perfect perks for s & d

You hate everything I've concluded.

Except death streaks.

Assassin is fine, just stop relying on the Radar as your main source of map awareness.
 
Assassin is immensly overpowered. I'd rather have this set up:
Assassin: Invisible to UAV, HBS
Pro: Invisible to Thermal, immune to CUAV, no name when targeted.

Then SitRep Pro should be invisible to Portable Radars as well as louder footsteps.
No immunity to an EMP at all for any perk

Why should a lvl. 22 Perk outclass a lvl. 77 Equipment or a lvl.24 (IIRC) weapon attachment? HBS I understand because it's a mid-level weapon unlock. I liked it in Black Ops because it was impossible to have a fully undetectable class. If you had Hacker Pro then you wouldn't show up on Motion Sensors, but you still made sound when moving.
With Ninja Pro, you won't make any sound and you could hear enemies louder, but you'd show up on a Motion Sensor.

I don't use the Radar as my only source of map awareness. Also, do you always have to say something about everything I say? It's really annoying.

Assassin isn't noob. It may be a bit OP, but it's not noob.
Dead Silence, Assassin, Blind Eye and hiding in a corner for half the match is.

I'm thinking of giving up playing survival mode with randoms, out of 10+ games only once did we manage to get over wave 20 and that was on Resistance. I had a game on Overwatch last night and for the first 3 waves it went well, then on wave 4 when there are regular troops, a juggernaut and a helicopter I managed to kill all the troops and helicopter while partner was left with the juggernaut, they got downed so I revived them and killed the juggernaut and they jumped off the map. I assumed this was their first try on the map so didn't know that you automatically die when you fall off so we tried again and got to wave 8 before they did it again.

So I decided to go on the normal maps and I always buy Sleight of Hand straight away as soon as I have enough. The other guy buys 2 new assault rifles when I just had enough for SoH so I called in the care package and they just ran over and stole my perk. I just left after that, it's got to the point where I run to the other side of the map to call in my care packages now.

If anyone wants to play properly on PS3 then feel free to send me a friend request on Lukas-21, even if it's just competing for solo records.
 
I really think Survival was a poor attempt at BO: Zombies competition. I probably would've played it more had it been 4-Players instead of 2.. I liked Zombies because there was an awesome storyline and gigantic easter eggs in most of the maps..

Also, got my 29th MOAB today. Going for them is the only thing keeping me into the game. Countless times I've been on an 12+ killstreak, die from some BlindEye/Assassin/FMG noob who spawns 1m from me and so I rage-quit. I don't even stay in the game and try to get a high kill count with the Assault Package because I'll end up getting killed by the same FMG noob running Assassin the second I spawn. The game is broken. OP perks, OP guns, terrible spawning and average map design. I fell stupid getting COD Elite now :grumpy:

Roll on, Black Ops II.
 
It does look like a poor attempt for competition but I actually prefer it to zombies, probably because rounds in survival mode go a lot quicker than zombies but it could be because I was really bad at zombies and didn't want to pester the more experienced players so didn't try playing online much. I'll probably try out zombies some more with Black Ops 2 and hopefully become good enough to regularly play with friends without letting them down. 4 player survival mode would be amazing, you'd be able to survive for an almost unlimited amount of time but money could be an issue as a lot of people who I've played with waste so much when at low rounds buying self revive, riot squads etc. when it really isn't needed.

I got another 17 gun streak on ground war KC Liberation, I collected a fair amount of tags while playing and was running around with the silenced M4A1. My attack helicopter got me 7 kills and my pave low only managed 2. I ended the game 29-1 which was my new personal best on a map I'm only familiar with from survival mode.
