No good.
In FM4 it's evolved one step further, where instead of choosing an AI setting in Career mode the game starts out low and then works it up over time as you win races. If you keep dominating, it keeps ratcheting up the AI until you're starting to struggle, so it's self-adjusting to fit your skill level.

There's nothing stopping PD from doing this, except for that they would have to take notes from the other guys.

that sounds like rubber-band effect.

The LMPS in GT5 aren`t even in the same class.....the cars in GT5 have, cause of the old reglemants, more then 800 horses and go 360 km/h down the mulsane. The R10 TDI and 908 HDI would have no chance against the old LMPs if not tuned.

For ex. the R18 Ultra is powered with round 600 horses and went down the mulsane with 320~330 km/h MAX. (not 100% sure about the horsepower)

So putting the minolta with nearly 1000 HP against the "modern" LMPs, like the R18 would be a disaster.

Also what really su**s is the fact, that Nürburgring 24h is also a LMP race in GT5.....

The craziest thing about that is of course the fact Kaz himself drives the flipping real life race! Did he see many LMP cars when he was there?

The R18 is actually pushing out closer to 800bhp and was actually hitting 334kph on Mulsanne, the Toyota TS030 was faster, although the fastest car on the entire weekend was the Sauber C11 (not the C9 thats in the game) in the Group C race, that was hitting 341kph. All three of these cars have one thing in common: the are not in GT5 and will not be in GT5 or GT6 because the licenses belong to Turn10, Polyphony caught napping YET AGAIN.

The fact that the Nurburgring 24hrs is an LMP race just shows that Polyphony have no common sense.

What is your evidence for this? As I've said before, T10 said after the Porsche debacle that they don't do exclusive licences because it's not fair on gamers. So even if they do have a license for those cars, other games can also have them to my knowledge.

That's true. Greenwald said that.

Eutechnyx makes NASCAR The Game. But, they do not have an exclusive license to be the only game in town. At least NASCAR learned from EA's antics that having only one game represent your sport is not good for the sport.

What? Where do you get that from? For what I know the R18 is limited to arround 550HP.

Various individuals who I was speaking to in the paddock at Le Mans, also, when the R8's and R10's were hit with similar restrictions, they simply changed components elsewhere on the car to regain the lost power, Peugeot and Toyota (this year) did that same, if you're given an inch, you take a mile. It's also generally noted that manufacturers will declare one horsepower figure while the actual horsepower is totally different. An example of this is Peugeot claiming that the 908 had 550bhp when in actual fact, commentators and journos will tell you that it is actually pushing out between 700 to 800 bhp, they made a similar claim with the HDI FAP too.

Yeah, I get what you're saying and it is just the nature of the beast. But it's all speculation, I wouldn't be surprised if the R18 was pushing 600-675HP but 800 sounds a bit exagerated for an egine that only has 1 year of competition under it's belt. Granted the development time is more than that but not even modern F1 engines had that rate of evolution before the freeze.
