Schwimmwagen. Come on, 625k for a car that can't go past 40mph, plus it's a nazi bathtub!!
All the people saying Veyrons are crap need to get a clue as to how to drive and/or tune it.

HA HA Nazi bathtub, so true just goes to show the most expensive cars are not always the best
Tank car, it handles like a barge and won't drive over little cars.
danjeeTrue, both the Veyron and McLaren F1 were the hypercars of their day. But they're fundamentally different in concept: the Veyron is a massively-powerful luxo-tourer while the F1 is a down-and-dirty full on race car. I never see why they're compared so often...
PAWEL17Caterham.
I got 7:19 with stock Veyron on sport hards on Nordschleife (all aids off, MT) - so it's extremly fast.
Many people can't drive it and that's why they talk crap.

Even disappointing if you adjust the gearing.
Several
1. All models of the GTR, I love how the most popular car in the game, and one of the best handling irl, is just terrible in gt5. The most power an R32 GTR makes it 666bhp, ummm WTF? and then an R34 GTR with the same engine (RB26DETT) makes 1-200 more bhp! Its bullcrap! and then somehow the R35 makes heaps more power? And then above the power we have the handling, ffs the handling of those cars is shocking! And the worst part is that when you spend hours tuning out the understeer and get it to turn in and handle as well as anything else, the tyre wear is rediculous! Anything more than 3 laps and it becomes useless. A perfect example of 'the real driving simulator' being 'the real driving simulator'.
2. Enzo, the best car around a track that Ferrari has made and in this game it is shocking! Its understeer is comparible to the GTR's! It's not acceptable that a car like that should perform that way, and it annoys me. A lot.
3. F40. What the hell were they thinking!? That car has the tallest gears I have ever seen! And whilst I don't know how the gear ratios in a real F40 are, I know that in real life an F40 isn't geared in such a way that you need a 20km long straight in order for it to reach its top speed. It's handling is also incredibly unrealistic, every single review of the F40 I have read raves on about the incredible handling and grip that it has. But in gt5, the car is the exact opposite. It's not a crap handling car by any means, but by the same token, its everything but brilliant.
4. Well, the list goes on and on and on; I have so many cars that I am disappointed with its not funny. It amazes me that 'the real driving simulator' still manages to make these cars so ****. But yeah tbh I'd say that every car in the game disappoints me, all apart from one, the NSX Type R 02.

Well it needs better tyres, mine is stock bar the tyres
I think you may have missed my point, the thing is, irl the F40's gearing would be tall, but the degree to which they are in gt5, no. Its crazy, and yes although it only has 480bhp, it weighs very little, is incredibly aerodynamic, and has a tiny drag coefficient. So although it lacks in power, Ferrari engineered it in such a way that it was still able to do 200mph, but at the same time didn't have the rediculous bhp figures of other cars at the time. I suppose they were kind of showing the world that power to weight coupled with a well designed body and chassis was most important, not just an enormous machine with heaps of horsepower.dark_ruffothe F40 was given a wide gear ratio just to reach the magic 200mph. That speed with "just" 480hp was only achieved with tall gearing.
Are you implying it's a race car meant to be raced?[/QUOTETbh I can't see it being useful for anything least of all racing, could't even keep the rain of ye

F40 gearing in the game is actually correct.
Regardless of how the numbers in the game look, just tell me one thing. Hop on GT5, get in the F40, and do some laps. After that, you tell me if you think GT5 is accurate.
