I ran a Mt. Aso course with the Volkswagen Kubelwagen and the thing couldn't even make it up the hill. I had to coast all the way back down the mountain and run at it again, and eventually creeped to the top by snaking back and forth across the road in first gear for several minutes. The AI never could figure out how to climb.

(I typed that paragraph before watching further into the video. Looks like the same experience there in the video.)

You know what's also pathetic is a race around the Nurburgring 24-hour circuit in Fiat 500s. I think it took like 20 minutes for one lap and it did a lot of the track at like 20 to 30 MPH.

That was brilliant. Anybody have this track to share?

Just whip up some Mt. Aso courses. It doesn't take much to get at least one big hill there that underpowered cars struggle with.

I actually did this track with the Midget and it was a bit easier. The Fiat 500 seems to be a low water mark for climbing ability...

Any 7 section Mt. Aso course will work for this. You can jimmy with sections 2-4 to maximize the Fiat 500 pain.
