You know;

Police only shows up when you don't expect them, they never show up when they're racing :D

It's a conspiracy!

Actgually, it looks like you got a bit defensive, and didn't read my post.

Sorry if it sounded that way...wasn't trying too.

Doing a 150 mph wheelie on an abandoned runway is all down to skill and a tiny bit of luck. It's well within the 'mad skills' limits of the Ghostrider and he's perfectly OK doing since it is only his ass that's going to get sanded off if he drops the bike. For him that may well be just another ride, and frankly, how dangerous it looks or is means nothing.

I'm not sure I agree with that. If somethink LOOKS dangerous...well...It usually is. That being said...for the well trained it is caclulated danger with varing degrees of probablity.

But AGAIN, no matter how skillful he may be, in traffic it is NOT just 'a matter of perspective'. Since the majority of that video was him flying down crowded roads with a speed differential approaching 100%, I don't see how you weren't trying to legitimize it, especially since you specifically mention us being hypocritical for criticizing him when we ourselves have probably sped on public roads.

I agree that he should not be doing that on public roads. We'll leave that go. The hypocrisy comes in that some people would critisize you for even going five mph over the speed limit. Thats what perspective is about.

But if you say it's fine to go 5mph over the speed limit, then where does it end? 10mph over? 15mph over? The speed limits are put to what the government thinks is an acceptably safe speed for everyone. Just because you have more 'skill' doesn't mean everyone else does.

5mph over gets to busted like hell in my state. You get a $150AUD fine for being 3km/h over. My mum got one for doing 53km/h in a 50km/h, which is 33mph in a 31mph street.

You wish you could ride like ghostrider.
Yes, I do.

That doesn't change the fact that he's a dangerous idiot. I just hope that on the day he finally chokes on his own testicles, he's the only one who dies.

I don't say its fine to speed. It was others in here that are ok with 5, 10, or 15. That is ok for them. They were the ones standing on a soap box. I was trying to point out that no matter where you stand there will always be someone that could say you are reckless. Even if its only 5 mph over the speed limit. You being case in point for my argument.

Of course. But you must take into consideration the amount of beer I've had tonight. Now you may think that this has nothing to do with the post I am making right now. 💡 You are right. I'll be honest I'm rambling. At least I'm spelling everything correctly. 👍

This was my favorite smiley to use when I actually went on this site: :grumpy:
