That is extremely crazy, if anybody has ever riden a half decent bike you will understand just how simply crazy this bike is. Those wheelies are pure power, no balance point at all. Pure acceleration power.
i dont think it 280 MPH
It has to be something like KPH or so.
Btw, those are freaking fast bike alright. Acceleration is unbelievable alright. Do it on highway or public road? i lost my respect for these guys.
👍 and 👎
I rather take that bike and take it somewhere more safer.
Ghostrider is a total idiot. I just hope that when he finally does get killed, it's only him that dies, and not somebody innocent. I never have been, and never will be impressed by his kind.
The R1 was doing 296km/h while the busa was still doing wheelies out of pure power, no respect? talk again when you have driven a fast bikeits the same if you have a ferrari to kick the pedal now and then.. and this guy has some great skills ^^
I think people forget that, sometimes, even Schumacher, Rossi, and Tsuchiya crash. and, when they do, It happens in a controlled situation, with other professional drivers/riders, not out on the highway, where, when you do crash, it's MUCH harder for Mrs Percible in her Minivan (or Big Bubba in his 18- wheeler) to avoid you. Hell, people could lose control when you give them a heart attack passing them. Not to mention, that some road-raged freak might try to block you or cut you off.
No place for these sort of antics on the road.
I never wish death on anyone, but I sincerely hope Ghostrider gets his license taken away, and gets some good, hard jail time, someday.
It's sad to think he might completely destroy that motorcycle someday, but, the way he was riding, the chances of it happening in the next 12 months are pretty good.
I still say save the engine and put it in an Alto Works, or build your own GSX-R4 or Sports Prototype.

Isn't he dead already,i somewhere heard that he died.
Yes, you're WAY off base. Even you have to recognize the difference between running 10-15% over the speed limit, and running 100-150% over the speed limit.I am slightly curious about the lashing that the ghost rider is getting in here. Considering everybody in here is a speed nut in one way or another I just don't get the bashing. I'm sure that its safe to say that MOST of you have broken the speed limit at some point(GOSH...I bet It was on a public road!). From there its just a degree of your risk tolerance or skill level.
More to the point is that the Ghost Rider has mad skills and What is dangerous to you is definetly not to him. To you it looks like he is riding on the edge of the limit. For him its just another ride. Am I way off here? What do you think?
Besides, how much skill does it take to twist a grip, tuck in, and hang on? So he pulls wheelies at high speeds. Big whoop. You see jerks on YouTube doing it all the time.
Actgually, it looks like you got a bit defensive, and didn't read my post.I certainly in now way shape or form am trying to say that its ok to double any speed limit whether it be 20 or 120. I was just stating his ability to control himself is different then what you think it is. It looks like you got a bit emotional and didn't actually read my post.
Doing a 150 mph wheelie on an abandoned runway is all down to skill and a tiny bit of luck. It's well within the 'mad skills' limits of the Ghostrider and he's perfectly OK doing since it is only his ass that's going to get sanded off if he drops the bike. For him that may well be just another ride, and frankly, how dangerous it looks or is means nothing.More to the point is that the Ghost Rider has mad skills and What is dangerous to you is definetly not to him. To you it looks like he is riding on the edge of the limit. For him its just another ride.
But AGAIN, no matter how skillful he may be, in traffic it is NOT just 'a matter of perspective'. Since the majority of that video was him flying down crowded roads with a speed differential approaching 100%, I don't see how you weren't trying to legitimize it, especially since you specifically mention us being hypocritical for criticizing him when we ourselves have probably sped on public roads.
