I say MotoGP 07 was the best PS2 motoracer. Are you referring to MotoGP 4 when you say Namco? The intro is the best I've seen in any game ever but the game was not as good as other later PS2 racers I think. SBK 08 for PS2 is good too and Tourist Trophy. TT Superbikes not really. My opinion of course, we all have our favorites 👍The best MotoGP games were for PS2 made by Namco. My favourite bike game was TT Superbikes made by jester interactive, again for PS2. The Isle of Man course on PS3/4 would beShame jester went bust.

Wow that looks good!
The first MotoGP game for ps2 was fantastic, back in the 500cc era. Think the first 4 MotoGP games on ps2 were really good but went downhill after. TT Superbikes was all I ever wanted. To lap the 37 mile mountain course! Road Racing is huge over here so that's probably why it appeals more to me.
Gonna def check this new game out. Milestone make solid WSBK games so high hopes for this one. The previous MotoGP games made by Capcom (?) where shocking imo.
What? Where? Waaaaaant! I must go and check if this is true.but another way is I remember a while back they had TT superbikes in the PS store. Its not a PS3 version but the PS2 version modified.

I've played some on that game now and it's definitely enyojable. I like the HUD and the simplicity and that one can do controlled slidesThe first MotoGP game for ps2 was fantastic, back in the 500cc era.
It's definitely an improvment over the first one, though not a major one. MotoGP 2 is great fun, I can assure you. Addicting powersliding, fun career mode, neat Legends Mode and unlockables - not entirely sure about the latter though.I've played some on that game now and it's definitely enyojable. I'm waiting for no 2 and 3 to appear in the mailbox. They should improve some on the first one, right? It'll be fun to try out nevertheless.
Great! Can't wait!
Screens look interesting.
Anybody know if they're going down the sim route this time, or just another arcade motogp title?
Its supposed to be more of a sim like the SBK games. The last couple were not made by Milestone but by Capcom and developed by Monumental. Last time Milestone had input in the GP series was with GP 08. Now they have full control so hopefully it will be better.
Some news just out about the demo from their facebook page.
"MotoGP13 Demo: Valentino Rossi. Marc Márquez. Gran Premi Aperol de Catalunya. Quick Race. 3 Laps. This is our special recipe for MotoGP13 Demo. Once downloaded, you can select between Rossi or Marquez and ride for 3 laps in Catalunya. Plus, all the options will be available. (the demo will be out early June)"
Thanks MadRR, it looks great. I wonder where the first two vids are?

Seems more of the same 'herky jerky' type of gameplay that afflicts all bike games.
Watch the movement of bikes in reality and then that on a game and it's a world away.
It's a shame really that as a driver I can get a good approximation of real driving with my driving rig but I'll never get the same with bike games (which is more annoying to me as I've had to give bikes up IRL).
Like the SBK games you say? A sim oriented MotoGP game you say?!
Hmm, I've been waiting for something like this. The thing I love about MotoGP is they always keep it running at 60 fps.
If they manage to pull off a realistic simulation with true to life engine sounds, it's a day one purchase for me!
I'll wait till I've played GP13. Besides those videos haven't sold me one little bit.
Looks extremely easy for a sim. How difficult is it to control the bikes?Forget about MotoGP 2013, it is that herky jerky.
You should look for GP Bikes by Piboso. It's an indie project, there should be a beta to download and try, it's W.I.P. but it's the only one decent motorbike simulator out there.
