My brother had two remote controlled cars, but he took the motor out of the corvette RC car and put it into the F40 RC car. That F40 was faster than the real thing, no lie. Too bad it caught on fire like the 458s of today. I wouldn't change the motor of your steering wheel, unless you're just doing it just to see if you can pull it off (kudos to you if can).
