^ Looks like Brack was trying to start a campfire just by watching his steering inputs.

Amazing drive!

Epic

Looks like he's fighting the wild beast on the wet tarmac and showing who's in control. Insane, but cool at the same time.

Excellent driving and props to Brack. This reminds me of the one with Rosser taming the famous 930 RUF Yellowbird on the Ring for two laps... BOSS.

I was there for this. I'm not entirely sure the video does it justice...

He was ambulanced off as a precaution but escaped with bruising.

Were you at his 'Axe-tinction' event at Kings Lynn this year by any chance??

Rob Huff and Jamie Cleland found this amusing snippet and posted it on facebook.

come on samir, get it together!
No wonder he was going wide and making a few mistakes. Pointing and saying 'left there' doesn't really cut it in competitive rally lol

This story from Autosport's 'Race Centre Live' Deserves a place in here:

Sat 10:12 WRC - France: Anyone wondering where WRC 3 contender Stephan Consani is this weekend?

He's been thrown out of the championship after confessing to recceing one of Rally France's stages last month.

Story goes that Consani realised he was being followed by representatives of the rally organisers, panicked and then tried to make a getaway, but was then involved in an accident and the game was up.

Consani was seventh in the championship standings, but has now had his points deleted and he's suspended from the last two rounds of the season.

Naughty boy.

A massive crash of Eduardo Cisneros and Marco Holzer in the ALMS race at VIR.

Kudos to the cameraman and the marshalls, that was a scary situation!

Isn't that the last ALMS race, ever?

The merger between Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series and ALMS, might be the reason why that's the last ALMS race ever.

However, that's a testament to the safety of these cars... :scared: Very close call for the stewards, glad everyone's okay... But I'm hoping USCR (the merged series) can ensure that the safety is paramount.

From the IndyCar race at Houston. Horrible crash of Dario Franchitti (diagnosed with a spinal fracture that will not require surgery, a fracture to the right ankle and a concussion.) 13 fans suffered injuries, with two transported to hospitals.

@KPRC Local 2 Houston:
Still shot of crash @ Houston Grand Prix. It's a still frame from viewer video. See The video @ 5:00.

Frightening at full speed. That catch fencing really doesn't look appropriate for the job, thankfully nobody is seriously injured. Completely different track but again from what I'm used to watching Europe that track really doesn't look very safe.

No the last race is in 2 weeks at Road Atlanta for Petit Le Mans.

Amazes me they still hold big races at VIR. The track is seriously outdated and rundown.

It's not outdated nor rundown, it just isn't this grand new track that we are used to. It is really in the middle of the country side which great views, it doesn't have alot of new stuff which it is getting next year with upgrades. It's a track I like because you make a mistake and it pays unless huge run offs of the "safe" tracks which push the limits.

Yes agreed, Seeing cars spin off and rejoin after making human error is getting rather boring, The upside to the new circuits is usually minimum safety car laps, but it almost means you can drive like an absolute prawn and still get away with it,

As far as VIR is concerned, It is in desperate need of a safety upgrade, when you see a margin of a few feet between a near miss and seriously injuring marshals at that speed something needs to be done, not suggesting a huge run off area, but a sand trap or some sort of "obstacle" or moving the marshal post point elsewhere,

That cameraman was so lucky that it happened just ahead of him. Just a few tenths later and he would have had an Indycar in his face.
