I'm in, sign me up. I've read all the Rules & Regs on your website. Never done an enduro before, longest race I've been in was 45 minutes, this should be interesting. :) GT5 says I should use High Race Quality, but I've been in Very High rooms with no problems before so we'll see how it goes.

If any one has any advice on pit stops I'd like to hear it. I heard that there's a bug when refueling, is that right?

I'm not familiar with the "Pit-Stop" bug. I know the pits aren't perfect, but as long as you aren't overly aggressive with them you'll be fine.

Tips:

- Don't enter the pits too closely behind somebody else. You can do it, but it may cause a delay in your stop.

- Make sure you've slowed sufficiently to make the pit stop entrance and let the computer take over. It's a very slow entrance and if you hit that wall, your race is over.

- Make sure you're not pressing any buttons (off throttle, brake, etc) as the computer driver takes over in the pits.

- You can get like 12L of fuel for free when you stop. Everything else costs time.

As far as pit strategy, I think the Vette could technically do it on 1 fuel stop but I doubt thats quicker than two stops. Three stops may even be fastest, I'm not sure.

The Mazda can do 44 Laps I believe, but cannot do 45. As a result, pit stop strategy will depend on the pace of the Vette leaders and how many laps they will finish because that will determine the race length for the Mazdas.
 
Going to be a tough race in group 2 i think. Pretty glad i dont have to race Ghost tho :p. Looking forward to race 1!!

I'm in the Evo race, all 14 drivers are within 8 tenths(my mistake) a second!(around Daytona Road Course) Should be interesting. If you wanna check out some of the past weeks races, you can go HERE.

EDIT: There have been some delay's, about an hour behind schedule. MAN I WISH I HAD THAT R8 LMS GT3 Car, DAM.

Yea group 2 appears to be a little deeper. I may ask some drivers to switch for competitions sake. I need to think about that though.

Looks fun. Have to admit the PC based sims are tempting me recently. Just watched some of the Allan McNish vs You race. Bet he was so embarrassed he spun :lol:

Might watch you later on. Get me in the mood for the start of the Motorsport season. Have a good one 👍

Also, how many litlres does the fuel tank hold when full?

Not on very fast no. But it can on fast which is what it will be set to for our races.

100L full tank. Same for any car.
 
Well unfortunately it looks our newest signup decided the car/track combo wasn't for him. As a result, we've got one extra spot open again. Anyone interested in signing up? We've got an epic fast field and would love one more great racer to join us.

Read your rules, I'll run a few laps here in a bit and let you guys know how I do. I'm probably not all that fast, but I am consistent and clean. This is one of my better tracks.:)

If you can run consistent 1:40 flat in the Mazda and mid 1:25 in the vette, you can contest for a podium for sure.

Interested to hear how you do in practice. I'll probably host a practice room tomorrow or Friday as well o hopefully you can join us then. Go ahead and add me on psn when you get a chance.

Having a rough time of it right now. Best is 1:26.4 but the car isn't broken in yet.

Funny my PB in qualifying was a 1:25.3. I went out today completely cold and ran a 1:25.1 on my 3rd lap lol.

Welcome Joe / GOINDYCOLTS as our newest driver!

I do still have another spot though :) One of our regular drivers has an emergency and can't make it after all. Anyone else want to play? Just a few days till race 1!
 
Just had a pretty good practice session. Matched my PB of 1:25.6 but I was much more consistent and the car didn't feel like it was trying to spin out every corner.:P Also, no connection issues this time. Hopefully I have them fixed.
 
🤬 found about this late. I have 3 series going down this weekend, but if there is a way for me to squeeze at least a handful of practice laps in Saturday Night then I would like to join you guys in the RM Vette plz?

Joe, we would enjoy having you but I'd like to kinda know in advance if you definitely plan to show or not. Please confirm asap.

Also, are you only interested in the Vette? Per the rules, everyone drives both cars. We do have a spot to drive the Vette in race 1, you'd be in the Mazda for race two.

I doubt I'll be around Saturday for practice, but I may be around tonight and early Sunday for testing.
 
So everyone does 50 laps in the Vette and then they do another 50 Laps in the Mazda?
 
Nope. Take a look at the rules on the website when you get a chance.

There are two races on separate weekends. Half the field drives the vette in race one, and then everyone switches for race two. Points are combined for the two races to determine winners.

Epic race guys! I can't believe how intense it was from start to finish. Different tire strategies, lap traffic, and fuel issues made it crazy. There was a time I couldn't even focus cuz my heart was beating so fast.

Congrats to Yannik and Perro for winning their classes!

I'm super bummed I didn't get a podium. I really thought I had 3rd place locked up. :(
