I just found this site that has a multiplayer mod to Vice City. Anyone ever try this-- obviously a PC mod.

Would be pretty cool looks like-- you might want to stay away from acidman's side of the city.

Looks like there is a multiplayer GTA:III too.
 
Obviously I didn't know and never heard of it mentioned anywhere--

Is it just for free play?? or can you team up on misssions or vigilante or anything else??
 
Sorry Spuds but this is old news.

You can only bascially go online with other people and try to kill everyone else. I do not believe they have modded in missions yet.

I would love to play this online and I have had one team already ask me to join their "gang" to play online. Unfortunately my video card is teh suck, so I don't know if I will ever be able to play it. :banghead:
 
So apparently everyone was discussing this behind my back--

I was searching on google news for more lawsuit stories when I found a blurb on it... I thought I was breaking the news on it.

When I get Vice for PC in a couple months, thats what Im gonna do, that, right there, kill people online. If Assman gets a better vid card, we will kill each other. :trouble: :irked:

Make sure you read up on running it-- I read you can't run it with ANY mods to the game or it won't run right--locks up.

I don't know if you will have to un-install your game (with mods) or if you can just load a second Vice City on your hard drive and use it for Multi Theft Auto---
