Considering it's the Murcielago replacement, it should be well over $300,000. I'll talk to Lamborghini of Dallas to get an estimate.

Why do people in fast cars automatically assume they can drive them well, honestly there are some stupid people on our roads.

Sad to see, I wonder what actually caused the fire, fuel lines or tank around where the damage is?

Replacement? Hmm I didn't know that, I thought they were just a higher performance Murcielago.

Well, it is, but instead of continuing to offer the 583Hp Murcielago, they decided to drop it, and use the 640Hp Murcielago.

How stupid must you feel with that crowd around you watching the firemen put out the fire? Do you just look over at the guy next to you and go "yep, that was my dumbass that wrecked my super car. That's right, I'm an idiot and can't drive. I probably shouldn't even have one in the first place."

I think driving and racing school should be manditory for anyone buying a car over 400hp. Thank God they didn't kill someone.

ooh, boy. Motor Trend says those things are hard enough to handle at speed as-is. add a public road, and, likely, an intoxicated - or unskilled - driver, and you've got a recipie for disaster.

If you go to the link i provided it says that the car was being driven to a press conference. Do you think they would just let any unskilled and drunk driver drive it 💡 The car is not yet available to the public.

I'd just like to second the idea of mandatory driving school for 400+ Hp cars.

Though, it should probably be based on Power/Weight ratio's.

Incorrect.

The car is available. 6 have been ordered and 2 have been spotted in Dubai.
Lamborghini Dallas will be taking orders very soon, and expect to have 1 for the ItalianCarFestival and Concorso.

Lamborghini had a press event with a black Murcielago years back near a snowy region in Europe. To cut shipping costs, they decided to drive it back. It ended the same way this did.

sucks to be him ( the one who totaled that car), I bet. he'll be paying that car for years!

Im pretty sure he wont, as it was not his car. He was just the driver selected to drive it to a press conference.

That's a very good idea. I just threw out horsepower there because it's a term most of the car buying public is used to while power/weight is a total mystery to 99% of car buyers. Power/Weight would be a much better tool to find out which cars are potentially trouble for unexperienced drivers though.

What!?

I didn't even know that car even came out yet.

Oh well, his problem, he should seriously consider learning to drive, especially when it's a supercar.

I think it should be mandatory for ANY sports car. The Lotus Elise may not make 400 horses, but I understand they're involved in many a wreck.

Yeah that's true, you get stupid people driving all cars.
