Chevrolet C-6 Corvette
Detomaso 1972 (Pre-"L") Pantera
Detomaso 1969 Mangusta

How about every muscle car in GT2 be included in GT4 new and old. I think that would make muscle car fans happy. 👍

Yeah, that'll do it. 👍

I like the way this guys thinks? Has KY called you about a job? He really should! I like the way you think!

If I get a job like that I would make a car list that is equal and fair to all car enthusiest from Europe, Japan, and United States. :)

i would like any of the boss mustangs, mach 1's, or shelby's, i would like to see some of the bigger guys too, like turinos, chevelles, and challengers, of course hemi road runner, daytonas super birds, all good cantidates, shelby/ac 427 cobras, cobra daytona coupes, it would also be kind of cool to see some of the real odball stuff that you never see in games, falcon 500's, things of that nature, and of course, i would love to see my car in there haha, if it were only possible...

Cobra daytona coupe's would satisfy everyone, muscle guys would have an amazing small block v8 powered supercar. Euro tuners would get a classic looking car that was meant to compete with ferraris and maseratis on their shores, and jdm kids.....well... there are a whole bunch of skylines and supras in it

Edit: by it I mean the game

You might wanna reconsider that thought..... :trouble:

The Boss Mustang was one of the most beautiful and agressive looking muscle/pony cars and imo should be a staple of the muscle car group of cars in GT4 if it is included. Also the yenko and baldwin motion versions of the Camaro's and Corvettes would be great.

True...(this 10 character thing sucks. :grumpy: )

There is only one word in muscle car and it's spelled "Judge"

 The Judge would be a nice addition. 👍

Although I'm always up for more, I'm already going to be pleased with the list of car's already slotted to be in th egame. Anything more is gravy. :D

Did anyone see the review of the new C6 Vette on Top Gear (UK TV show) on sunday?

Don't think they liked it much. But it did get a fairly respectable lap time. Pitty it didn't fair so well in the drag race.

What was the 1/4 time for the C6 Vette?

Sry if this a bit off topic. But it does have something to do with muscle cars.

~A BAD DAY FOR A CHALLENGER~

Last month at a drag strip in Oklahoma, a man named John Bearson brought down his 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T 440 Magnum from Nesbraska. Anyways, when it was his turn to get on the track, he reved the engine. Unfornately, the 3rd time he reved the car, for some reason, the belt came off.Officials told he could not repair the car right there on the track, so he had it towed back to his trailer.
Later on, he was ready to race again againist a 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1. Both cars had the big back tires, along with those (I think their wheelie bars; you know, to keep the car from flipping, sry, forgot them). Anyways, the lights went green, and both cars got their fronts in the air. As soon as the Challenger got it's front at a good height, the car stopped, and the car suddenly, slammed down to the ground braking the axel, and causing the car to spin and go dead into the wall front first. With the headlights broken, and the grill gone, the car was towed back to his trailer.
Then, bad luck happened again. While at the trailer, Bearson found out a terrible thing. The engine was shot meaning it needed a new engine. The drag series he was in sais he needed a Challenger R/T engine. Unfornately, he had no idea were to get, nor was he ready to spend the money. So he sold it to another man right there at the drag who wanted to restore.
So like the story says,

~A BAD DAY FOR A CHALLENGER~

baby wanna bobble!!! (bottle)

they just dont like it cus its american. The only reason they didnt hate on the gt40 was because it wasnt 100% american. The Corvette can compete w/ many other well known supercars. and it has an impressive race history.

They liked it, Jerremy jokes about American cars and he didn't like the old technology in it. As for the drag race it got caned by the T350C (COME ON TVR) but it did a good time on the track. It's like with the GT40 Jerremy loved it because he was getting one and the others were joking about it runningout of petrol before he got from home to TopGear.

They actually dogged on the Ford GT (GT40) as well. There is no form of media that is not biased in some way. Magazines and Tv shows are the absolute worst.

Top Gear basically thought it was a fun, fairly quick car, better than the old one, but weren't impressed by the very old fassioned (leaf-spring?) rear suspension, tacky plasticy dashboard, and a very odd, bendy plastic panel that fits around the cars tail lights. No joke, they could push (bend inwards) this panel easily more than an inch.

As for the drag....They raced 4 cars side by side. It didn't give a time, but as live4speed said, it got beat (by a considerable margin) by the TVR T350C(1st), just behind the Honda NSX(2nd), while the Porsche 911 came in last.

Too bad they didn't put the CL 65 AMG next to them, just for reference :D. They were just astonished by the power of it and I would like to see it in all future drag races they do :D.

Yeah the SL65 was awesome in a straight line! Pitty about the track time though

Mind you, with that much power and weight what do you expect :)

Simple truth is that american cars look cheap, sometimes sound and perform well but when we europeans have the likes of TVR, Porsche, Ferrari etc how can a plasticky(sp?) us car compete over here especially when we like to turn and feel our cars handle the corners not snake in them, I saw the review and I have read lot's of crap on mainly US forums about it though a few american members do agree with the review itself.

Bottom line is if it isn't at least high quality with good design and doesn't handle well, you can forget the europeans adopting it, the sooner US manufacturers notice and act on this the better for all including the US!!

The reason Americans love cars like the Corvette is because of the price, Fourty grand buys you a car which can go head to head with an 80 grand porsche. The interior is just good enough to live with. Americans love value. European cars are better handling and have better interiors but at a huge cost.
