Ps. What car did you use to race the manf. vette race and win that sick vette? The only vette I have is the 54', which sucks lol.

saleen sells a kit to make any 67 stang just like a gt500, with a ford crate motor of course.

Yes 50/50 got it exactly right. The real Shelby is a 67' Shelby Cobra G.T. 500 (Eleanor). Of course the one in Gone in 60secs is not a real car, they had several cars for the different shots.

i put 3 cudas' in there, because one is REALLY dark on this monitor, so i'm sure its dark for anyone with a CRT

the plymouth is the **** i saw one the other day in the states with 540 hemi for 90 000 came with original motor ( im am an aussie and i consider our cars muscle aswell )

Indeed. I grew up on that film. The remaster is very bad. They overdubbed the car sound and cut a lot of the original music out.

And as for the remake....... 👎 that jump scene on the bridge near the end sums up the film as a whole for me.

Actually almost all of the cars used in the movie had Ford 302 C.I.D engines, and there was a "hero" car with a 427.
