the band from the FLCL soundtrack

"THE PILLOWS"

this music was such an asset to the anime like no other. i tried listening to it while playing gt3, and it was...different. worth a shot, its all over the place on winmx and kaza.

DJMYSTIK is another example of other parapara trance like music, also known for DDR tracks!

drifting Mines evo listening to the new oakenfold cd track 1

its not a bad game at all. it increases stamina and also is a good workout also. it really helps the leg muscles also. DDR also helps people that can't carry a beat, and teaches them. its a good learning game also. it takes good hand-feet coordination.

i think all the ID music was and is good for drift. it matches well. i like a lot of the songs from the original battle stage (the one that has all the races). i watch it almost everyday religiously, although it is exagerrated. its still fun to watch.

hey people... how bout some Crystal Method the new stuff, Name of the game | PHD | Roll it up | Wild, Sweet and Cool. Or Trapt Headstrong and Disturbed Down with the sickness | Stupified. Rap like Lil Jon Get Low or Juvenile Back dat azz up I guess.

Nick:banghead:

Who's song is it in the Ruch Montage drifing video that is out there on the internet. I like this song when I drift, but I'd rather have it in mp3 formate than a wmv file playing in the background.

Ruch Montage 1 or 2? I think 1 had Jimmy Eat World-Sweetness and another song at the end that I don't know the name of. Ruch 2 had CKY-Quite Bitter Things and yet another song I don't know the name of. Rock is awesome for drifting :D

96 QUITE BITTER BEINGS ROCKS
and "inhuman creation station" but its not as fast :(

i suggest the bouncing souls "the true believers" awesome punk song thats real inspiring, in an uplifting initial d way. if you listen to all of it, all the bouncing souls crap is like that

dark tranquility "monochroamtic stains" if you drive skylines in the game this is THE SONG! it rocks because you just destroy your oponents and look cool doing it, stains' is just a complimetn to that

For the love of god, stop with the techno, rap, and other junk. How about Godsmack?

Seriously, if your going to do a techno song, don't do something annoying, like pretty much all rave music is...

Check out my vid, it's not Drifting, or Gran Turismo, or even PS2 for that matter, but it has some alright techno in it, and has some nice timing (uh, that's why I called it Timing.)

Timing

You'll need WM9 to play it, or if you have 8, it'll just download the codecs for it. It's about 16 megs.

Rap or hip hop is a kind of music and its DIFFERENT just like all the others. Rappers don't sing. Why? What do you think? it's a different kind of music. Music doesn't have to involve singing. It just has to be pleasing to ones ear. It may not rock your boat but it does to some other people. and rap involves skill, a lot of it. Try freestyling for 10 minutes.

During school trips on the bus, me and my friend would do it for almost the entire trip. He would freestyle while I would beatbox :D

BTW: I usually listen to trance or something from the Electronica genre/sub-genre's. Sometimes I listen to rock. Pretty much the only rap song I will listen to is B.O.B. (Bombs Over Baghdad) by Outkast.

Classical... fast ones of course

There are some Ayumi and Every Little Thing songs converted to Eurobeat also. I found Evolution (Ayu) and Fragile (ELT) appealing.

Hm, drifting tunes....

Jimmy Eat World - Sweetness
Thursday - Understanding in a Car Crash
Linkin Park - Faint
Goldfinger - 99 Red Ballons (i know its on the sound-track, but its so good, i had to list it again)
Judas Priest - Breakin the Law
Thrice - All thats left

ok

Oakenfold, BT, Massive Attack, Linkin Park (especially Faint & Somewhere I Belong), and of course Initial D music, all good stuff. i always drive fast when im listening to that stuff (in real life). i dont think Rap is good drifting music, its more kick back music; not mainstream rap though, the radio is so full of crap nowadays... but who ever says rap is not music is wrong.

and emo is NOT good drifting/driving music, i've seen a couple of drifting videos with emo playing. WTF?
