- You're crazy if you think
- I can afford either of these.
Haha when that car gets high in the revs, it sounds like a fly!![]()
That's just flat out WEAK. If life ever comes to that being the only alternative, I'm stuffing a silencer in the car.

But even then, it will still be an F-Body, so people will automatically assume that it is a V8. And well in the know people will assume that it is turbocharged if not a V8.The only way a V6 Fbody will be a sleeper is with a turbo or two stuffed under the bonnet.

That being said, there is still nothing wrong with a V6 F Body. You could be working under the hood, drop the wrench on the manifold and accidentally add 10 horsepower.

Thanks for the chuckle. That's almost true. And I agree that there is absolutely nothing wrong with V6 Fbodies. Hell, the 3.8L models had what 205bhp and 230tq? Not to bad considering with as you put it a wrench you can add some decent power. And lets not forget that even in V6 trim Fbodies are still sexy where as it took the V6 Mustang until 2005 to get some decent good looks.
Not necessary: "I was walking to the car with a cup of coffee and slipped. The cup landed on the manifold, shattered, and created a working turbocharger that added 80 BHP and 130 lb. ft."Outta drop a Z/28 or an SS hood onto it if I get the V6 just for kicks.

In fact, adding a V8 to a V6 car kind of ruins the fun.
Hell, I'd engine swap a 4.3L, then turbocharge that.
That's definately a good thing! The 4.3 while old isn't a bad engine, they will take just about any sot of abuse you throw at it. Not to mention they are cheaper then dirt.
Turbo charging a 4.3 is expensive though, $5000-$6000 seemed to be the average cost on the s10forum with people who did it. Although the block will take a ton of boost.

He means buying a kit for it, because there is no aftermarket for the engine so everything is expensive. I would just use a turbo system for a 3800 and adapt it.How? I've never heard of any forced induction on a USDM engine that costed that much. I need links to said topics so I can ask them WHY they wasted that kind of money. I highly doubt putting a turbo on a 4.3 costs $5,000. No way.

Except the earth shattering lag.Could easily be boosted past the 300 BHP mark without much of an issue.
I think you were being sarcastic, but just in case.
Camaro + 4cyl engine =/= EPIC
Because...uh...I wouldn't. So...against...horribly not-green...philosophy!Why would he give up a tough V6 sound for a I4 sound also?
