The seats in that SE don't appear to be stock...
They match nothing else in the interior.

1995 Prelude Si/SE

1/4 : 15.1
1995 Mustang GT 5.0L

1999 Mustang V6 3.8L
0-60: 8.6
1/4 : 16.5
And it turns left/right, a Fox Mustang weakness.
Odd that the Prelude has the balls to reel in the Mustang GT on the top end of the track like that... In fact, the test car would have to be the VTEC model. The Si/SE Prelude invariably has a worse P:W ratio, and since it's losing time early on due to FWD... Those test numbers are a bit screwed. The V6 Mustang numbers sound about right, maybe a little slow.

Very true. It also has a wonderful thing called "independent rear suspension," which is something that no prior Fox Mustang had. Thus allowing the SVT cars to handle quite good, and the non-SVT and pre-1999 cars to still handle like ass.Well, it's as much of a Fox as the 1994-8 cars are.

Regardless, you would be hard pressed to find a stock Mustang that could outhandle a Prelude, SVT or not, so I think my obvious sarcasm still stands.
I'd like to say that the Ford Ranger is a very nice truck. It can haul a decent amount of stuff. And it handles amazingly. I don't have my license yet. But I get to drive my brother's every once and a while around parking lots. They're definitely not sluggish what-so-ever either.
Great gas mileage too. Insurance seems to be no problem for my brother either.
If it has been dismissed as an option. Its a damn shame.
Is the 2.3 the Pinto engine?
2.3L Ranger with a 5-speed... And a turbocharger.
200+hp, 3200lbs FTMFW.
The Prelude that you posted has the SE wheels, but it appears that the seats have been swapped, they dont match the tan carpet on the floor. I think I was wrong on the leather interior part as being part of the SE package.
Bah, Pinto engines are indestructible on the boost side of things.Ahh what a timebomb
Exactly. 200 HP out of one is nothing, especially when they is little more than what Ford did when they slapped them in the Mustang/T-Bird. It would be like driving a Mustang SVO with cheap insurance and a bedliner.
Compared to the SVO, that is quite a compliment.mustangGT90210Like an SVO, but with an ancient chassis that was just on par back in the mid 80's.
Compared to the SVO, that is quite a compliment.
The chassis the SVO sat on was 6 years older than the one the Ranger was on.Seriously?
mustangs havent made automotive par since 1964.5.
(i kid, sort of.)
They make par for what they are built for. The 1/4 mile. Turning is for pu$sys in the Mustang Book
A characteristic of that Trans Am:
Dodgy photos
Almost looks like a Fiero because of dodgy photos.
Dodgy? Fiero?
Those photos are perfectly crisp and in no way that looks like a Fiero...
Mustang totally get that car.. NOW!
