I disagree. Had you said that BF requires more teamwork, from what I've learned in this thread, I'd agree with you. CoD is a run & gun game that doesn't require thinking? I don't make decisions? Yeah, I see players like that in CoD. Does that mean I don't think things through to succeed? What you are saying there pretty much doesn't make any sense to me.I like battlefield more because it relies more on teamwork and actually thinking through decisions and such. CoD is just, run, shoot, die.
Just last night, I had a standoff with a enemy player. I was downstairs, he was on the rooftop. We both were very aware of where each other was, and wanted to take the other guy down. The standoff went on for maybe couple of minutes, during this time, we were both racking up kills. He finally jumped down to the second floor, caught me just off-guard, I missed my shot and he blasted me. Those couple of minutes were just like a chess match. Each of us trying to trick each other, set each other up, all while we were fighting other players.
My impression of CoD is that it is fast paced. But it most definitely requires thinking. "Thinking through"? Sure, but not too long. It is a fast game. More often than not, you will be required to think fast. There are a lot of adjustment you will be forced to make. Campers, noob-tubers, run & gunners, ninjas, crew that likes to run in numbers, if you approach them without a plan, you will suck at CoD games. You will encounter teams with defense, offense, or balanced teams like our GTP Clan, with half the team pushing offense, other half punishing flankers, or anybody trying to roam the map. Some teams will kill you with UAV support, some with air support. Different perk trends.
I most definitely disagree with your impression of CoD that it's "just, run, shoot, die."
