It was a great game for pictures but for me, I couldn't keep the damn bikes upright Like I say though, great pictures.

so i just downloaded mxgp2 demo version, hmm wouldnt say any different from the ps3 version mxgp i first got..i like the photomode tho, wishing there was a shutter speed setting tho..

Cheers for the reminder of the MX-GP2 demo...somehow I'd completely forgotten about it. I actually think the handling model has become more stable and graphically, it's definitely better. The tumbles from my bike (and there were many) looked less rag-doll-like and more natural.

As I took quite a few pictures from the race, I'll split them across two posts.

With graphical improvements like this, Milestone are getting to the point when Code Masters will need to keep an eye out with their next rally title - that is if Milestone are still going to be making any.

I just downloaded the Demo, Enjoyed it. I take it all back about Milestone not delivering. This is a great improvement in the graphics from quite a few of their recent releases. Did you end up buying the full game? @MeanElf @imported_rik19 👍

@torque99 I know I wasn't asked, but as I have no shame in butting in without being invited, I bought it about a week ago while it was on sale. I've already put 17 hours into it, so I say it delivers. But I wouldn't pay full price, especially with MXGP 3 coming out... Eventually.

No worries, I appreciate it Mr Skython 👍 Full price here at the moment £49.99GBP ($85NZD) or £59.99GBP ($100NZD) (special)! I think I will enjoy a few more tracks in this game but as you and @MeanElf say it maybe worth waiting for MXGP3 New Unreal engine full price and pick this up in the sale, I also thought I would try the MXGP1 (demo) on PS4 Pro to see how it has changed and that was pretty much the same but opposite to Meanelf I found the handling in this slightly easier (in both Chase/Helmet cams).

It is still pretty good in the graphics dept. Especially the actual Bike detail as the PS4 Pro saves in full size so this makes the photos sharper, I missed the demo on PS4 so MXGP2 I took from Xbox one.
I am looking forward to seeing how this improves now in MXGP3

It is a real shame that 2 didn't get much support (or so it seems) though as with most Milestone games, there is a hardcore army of fans who do buy and play each game. I really should get 2 what with all the pictures I took on DC Bikes (3000 on Flickr alone.) Watch this space...

I wanted to buy this but as with many Milestone games this strained my eyes and made me feel a bit nauseous. Hopefully the UR4 engine will solve that.

I really do like the 'Wibble Wobble' Helmet cam view in this game, it makes it very immersive. I am not sure I could handle this in PSVR if it ever came out as I am struggling with DiRT Rally in VR!

I was amazed at the detail in the grass and mud, almost photographic pictures that get more detailed as it zooms in probably the most detailed I have seen in a racing game so far. From a distance it looks like smooth blurred graphics with no detail but close up you could see things in the grass, dead leaves etc with the tracks having deformation from the bikes infront...

@imported_rik19 If you go to Library(far right) in your main PS4 Dashboard, then click on the left menu at bottom (All Purchased games) you should see it there even if deleted and be able to re download it even if not on the store anymore. I have done that with a few demos in the past and even managed to re download the orginal MXGP demo.

Great detail pics both - those grooved tracks on the soft earth will be more of a feature in MXGP3: dynamic per race, if I understood the trailer correctly.

Well ive downloaded the xbox one demo of mxgp2 and as usual cannot get the screenshots to upload to a website to get them, i seriously hate the way xbox does screenshots etc etc...pathetic..Ive got everything set to allow sharing of captures/clips etc, but everytime comes up with an error, surely it cannot be difficult to allow us to pop a usb stick in the console and get the pics...

edit, given up on the xboxone demo, and noticed the game for sale on psn 7.99, compact version so downloading, i hate downloading games this big, its fluctuating between 5-12 hours to go..
