Peugeot coupe 406 2.2 '00 160bhp

We'd be here for the next fifty years if we added every touring car team.

I'm not actually sure if I have all of the years down for the NSX. But thanks for the comment! :)

Another minor point of query. Are you planning on incorporating all trim levels and variations, or just Make Model Engine Year-spec? Only there seems some inconsistency here.

An example of the latter is your Fiesta range:
Ford Fiesta 1.25i 16V '06
Ford Fiesta 1.4i 16V '06
Ford Fiesta 1.6i 16V '06
Ford Fiesta 1.6i TDCi 92 '06
Ford Fiesta 1.6i TDCi 110 '06
Ford Fiesta 2.0i 16V 150 '06

Make Model Engine Year-spec

Whereas an example of the latter is your Miata range:
Mazda MX-5 Miata (NA) '89
Mazda MX-5 Miata J-Limited (NA, J) '91
Mazda MX-5 Miata J-Limited II (NA, J) '91
Mazda MX-5 Miata SR-Limited (NA, J) '97
Mazda MX-5 Miata S-Special Type I (NA, J) '95
Mazda MX-5 Miata VR-Limited (NA, J) '95
Mazda MX-5 Miata V-Special Type II (NA, J) '97

Make Model Trim levels/variations

It should probably be pointed out that none of your Miatas actually exist (they're all Eunos Roadster trim levels, not MX-5 or Miata trim levels) and you've quite obviously just copy and pasted them from the GT5 car list (given the "J" in parentheses, which is GT5 designation for a JDM car and makes no sense on a USDM car), but they are just trim level variants.

It makes sense to include trim level variants that actually exist, particularly when there's obvious mechanical differences (LSD included, different gearbox) or weight change, but you give yourself several problems if you do. You'd have to include every conceivable permutation of all known options on a car that would make it different and that would require knowing what all the options were. That would give you a colossal and unwieldy list - the number of possible body styles and chassis types on, say, a Ford Transit alone numbers well into the tens of millions...

Speaking of Eunos, it should be noted that Eunos was its own brand, not Mazda. The Eunos Roadster, Presso, Cosmo and 500 (and 800) wore Eunos badging, not Mazda. Mazda abandoned it in 1997 though and brought everything back under Mazda. The same applies to both AutoZam (AZ1, AZ3) and M2 (which you don't have) - their own brands, not Mazda. They tried something similar with a luxury brand they called Amati, but that was never launched - though there were two concept cars. Since you're including concepts, it makes sense to include Amati. The cars were the Amati 500 (which became the Eunos 800, Mazda Xedos 9 and Mazda Millenia) and the Amati 1000 (which was a W12 engined, RWD flagship sedan and was cancelled).

With that said, the Miata should look like:

Mazda MX-5 Miata NA 1.6 '90
Mazda MX-5 Miata NA 1.8 '94
Mazda MX-5 Miata NB '98
Mazda MX-5 Miata NB VVT '01
Mazda MX-5 Miata NB Coupe '03
Mazda MX-5 Miata NC '06
Mazda MX-5 Miata NC '09

Mazdaspeed MX-5 Miata NB '04

Now if you want trim levels, we can sit here all day and list them out. :P

Thanks for all the Mazda, Miata, Eunos, and AutoZam information! I'll incorporate it now. Also, I'm not doing all the different chassis types, that would get out of control.

And the world has now toppled over underneath those posts.

Congratulations, but don't tell your non-car enthusiast mates...

EDIT: I also have an A-Z list of kit cars and I've typed in just three of the most popular ones and none of them were to be found. Want me to go through all the missing links?

Well, that's a can of worms opened, I'm now working on an Access db to get myself a full list of BMW's... great.

Had a decent sized list of cars from Iran and Korea that you hadn't covered in this and I accidentally hit back and lost it all.. :/

I suggest the Samsung section gets a complete overhaul.
First of all, I suggest you rename it to Renault Samsung Motors.
Samsung alone is only used in daily speech as this is more convenient, but they're sold as 르노삼성 (Renault Samsung)

Anyway, I've conjured up a full overview of the RSM model palette since its birth.

Renault Samsung Motors:
Renault Samsung QM5 RE/LE/SE '08
Renault Samsung QM5 RE25/LE25/SE25 '08
Renault Samsung QM5 RE/LE/SE '11
Renault Samsung QM5 RE25/LE25/SE25 '11

Renault Samsung SM520 '98
Renault Samsung SM520V '99
Renault Samsung SM525V '99
Renault Samsung SM530L '99

Renault Samsung SM7 New Art Prestige '09
Renault Samsung SM7 RE/LE '12
Renault Samsung SM7 RE35/LE35 '12

All these models should be listed separately, as the numbers indicate, just like BMW, engine size, as well as engine type (V6/I-4) and trim (LWB version, limousine, luxuries) ;)

Impressive list! 👍👍 Will models that received cosmetic facelifts be included separately? There seems to be some variation.

Hmm, the problem I'm getting researching some of this, is the amount of duff information on the internet.. it's like chinese whispers out there, I'd tend to only list something if I can find a couple of leggit independent sources.. because it seems like people quote wiki, badly, then someone converts kW to HP to PS to HP and back, then gets it wrong, and before you know it, somebodies used that data on another website.

Given that in researching the BMW list, again focusing on the one series I found so many errors on sites (especially Wiki), that basically I'd have to consult by (very large) library of printed BMW literature to back everything up... 'tis very time consuming, and I fear would be an exercise in futility to do it accurately.

The way I do it is going and looking on multiple websites (preferably the manufactuer's website), and look at what the majority of the websites say.

I've spotted something. The Chevrolet Suburban has been in production for every year since 1935. If you want me to I can go through and put down all the years for you.

This seems like the kind of list that would be made by one who likes to read different editions of dictionaries.

I don't actually, but I can tell you the Wikipedia page on SAIPA has all the years, it's just jumbled into text.
