But you CAN'T win on some races on level 5 with N2 tyres on, since the AI use sports tyres. Although they're stupid and insanely slow with them, they still have FAR more grip than you if you use N2 and you just can't win in these races.

My mistake... Do level 7 with sports tires. Meant to put sport tires and not N2. Sorry.
 
Yeah, do level 7 or 8 with sports tires, it will be just as hard as level 5 with N tires.
But they dont have WAY more grip in level 5 when you're running N2 tires, I think its a challenge to beat them with my N tires.

My challenge now is to win with a 560hp SL600 from 98....it still weighs 2050kg (HEAVY!!!) and it has almost no grip due to its weight and the suspension is as soft as my gf's ass.
I got as far as 3rd now, going for 2nd soon, I think thats so much fun. (racing on La Sarthe.)

If you do some tests in the gymkhana with any car (I used the volvo in that race) and N2 compared to sports tyres, you'll see just how much more grip the AI has compared to you - in braking, cornering force and accelerating out.
 
I only race on +10 difficulty level and I use S2 on road cars and R2 on race cars. Some times I win sometimes I don´t but most of the times I do, thats how I got my 23.417 A-spec points

can you predict what's the maximum amount of a-spec points possible to get?

i dunno if you played prolouge but are the sports tyres similar too the sports tyres in gt4? i found these too give some very realistic road handling the mac f1 gtr was spinnin all over when i accelerated out of corners it felt really nice

I just tried it again, and you're right, but I can keep up with level 5....and its fun.
Level 10 with sports tires can be done if you're a really good driver.
 
Most people are confused about the adjustable front downforce. Perhaps when you purchase a spoiler it also includes a front air diffuser. I'm not sure, just my 2 cents.
