My GT5 has been dispatched

My signature edition ordered from GAME has been showing up on the Parcelforce tracking since yesterday evening as "Express 24". However no further tracking details are being given at the moment so I guess it is sitting in a Parcelforce office somewhere - optimistically I hope it starts its journey today to be delivered tomorrow - pessimistically it will start its journey tomorrow to arrive on Wednesday.
 
Postman been and gone and all he had for me was a bill from BT...oh joy.

Didn't think it would be here today though. Tomorrow for the win!!!!
 
That's a shame then. Shopto seems to be graudally getting worse. When I first used them a couple of years ago for pre-orders, you got the charged email and the shipped email within a few mins of each other so you knew you paid and shopto did their part and dispatched.

But this last year or so, the time between being charged for a pre-order and the item actually shipping has become longer and longer. The last few games they've been charging Tuesday afternoon but there's no dispatch until sometime on the Wednesday and in one case the Thursday morning.

I'm beginning to think I should switch to some other e-tailer that is a bit smaller - I think shopto just got too much of a rep for early deliveries and have had some troubles so now they're very careful :/

Hmm, still waiting for a email from ShopTo that my GT5 copy has been dispatched.

If it actually was collected by royal mail on Thursday, then you would have got it on Friday, or at least Saturday. (If it was 1st Class Royal Mail)
 
I have pre-ordered GT5 CE from Amazon UK and it hasn't be dispatched. So i sent them a quick email asking why and if I would get my copy on the 24/11/2010. They responded very quicky:

...Well that's me definately making a special trip home at midday today to see if it's sat waiting for me.

I don't think I'd cope this afternoon wondering whether it might be there. Mind you, if it is there I won't be able to play it until this evening anyway! ...It's going to be a long afternoon :scared:

Yeah Baby, Amazon.co.uk just dispatched my CE about half an hour ago, delivery tomorrow, nice one, can't wait !
 
Right am off to go pay for my SE in full, side not is XE.com the best place for current exchange rate, I have $200 which I want to exchange to ££ using that to pay off for the game...also should i dodge banks...maybe the Post Office? Thanks in advanced

i got my email from shopto about 30 mins ago aswell.
 
Still waiting for mine from Amazon UK, 'dispatch waiting' is a horrible phrase!
 
Mine was dispatched from Play.com on Friday, im so tempted to drive home at lunch and see if it has arrived. Desperation or what?

Mines been dispatched from Shopto, Going by every other game I have bought from there, I will most likely get it tomorrow.

So exciting! :D
 
Here in Poland game will be send at the release day - means i will get my copy on 25th - Thursday

Oh yes, very wrong - at the age of 40 and above it is totally unacceptable to be excited about a video game.

I'm so glad I'm only 39... :)

What was you're pre-order date, mine was 6th of August and still not dispatched.
If yours was later i will complain.
