What a crap day this has been. Woke up fully expecting to receive my SE from GAME and instead I'm sat here with no game, no tracking details and no idea whether I will get the game tomorrow.

Same for me mate, I have recently been very dubious of when play.com have actually posted the item. I know it's jersey but sometimes it takes the mick how long it takes.

Hopefully tomorrow, also a good day as the wife can install it while I'm at work ready to rock at 5.30 when I get home.
 
Mine arrived this morning, from game.co.uk =], always a day early in my experience of pre-ordering from them. Although its stuck at 55 seconds to install....

Edit: now installed successfully =].

Well i just called Best Buy and they said that the release date was supposed to of been tomorrow, and that they have the games in stock, but its been delayed until sometime in December and they cannot sell any.

I mean what the????????????

If id read that someplace else id of said it was BS, but i just got off of the phone with the store manager, and thats what she told me.

Im soooooooo confused.

No place around here seems to be selling it early. So i will try Target, Walmart, Gamestop etc etc tomorrow morning. Target did tell me they are selling it tomorrow and are open at 8am so that will be my first port of call.

Stupid a$$ Best Buy............dont they want buisness or something?????

Edit: Maybe there are bad batches of discs floating around and they have been told they cannot sell them??. Its the only thing i can think of as to why they said what they said.

I am in Austin, Texas and just received a tracking # from Amazon for my standard edition GT5. I will be receiving it tomorrow due to release date delivery with my free trial Prime membership. 👍
 
+1 On the play.com in limbo list, I too got the posted on friday email.

Regretting the choice of play over amazon for the UK CE now, atleast at amazon I might have had the chance of knowing when the things going to arrive. :nervous:

Oh well I'll just do what everyone else is doing....F5 on the main page FTW!
 
Ok so the money left my account, the staus changed to dispatching soon.... at 9.30 this morning. It's 19.15 now and it STILL hasn't changed!!! What the hell????
I've been pretty calm untl now but was at least hoping for it to be on its way.

I was convinced when I got the message confirming that an independent shop had it in stock that I would go there for nothing, or that something will happen like get trapped on the tube, shop would be shut etc. but I got there at 4:50pm picked it off the shelf, paid for it, now I am at home installing, I cant wait!!!
