Some people are lucky with GT5 and their wife! :)

I actually have it delivered at the house of friend of my wife, I'm not allowed to go and pick it up when it arrives. She actually makes me wait till the next day, when she goes to the office and will receive it.
 
Postman has been and mine hasnt turned up from shopto.net and I got the email yesterday morning saying it was dispatched :( Oh well...a days further excitement!

I'm guessing those who have got it - it was delivered with your normal postman and not on a van?
 
I watched my postie walk straight past my house this morning, no post for me today. :(

mines a play order by the way. hopefully it will turn up tomorrow.

Has anyone got the signature edition ordered from Game and if so did your tracking number ever display any information?
 
DEVASTATED!!!

Post been and gone with no game.

First time ever Play.com have failed to get a pre-order to me before the actual release date.

I even ran down the street to catch the postman shouting stuff like..

"nothing for me mate?"

"are you sure?"

"are you definately sure theres nothing for me pal?"

"look just double check in the back of the van will ya"

Ok may have exagerrated towards the end there

Ordered mine from Game so it could come today. I'm working till 5 and the brother is at home. If it comes bet the little b*****d opens it and plays it before me!
 
I picked up my copy from Datart store here in CZ today morning. Cancelled my pre-order from xzone.cz which was active since january and nothing happened. Can't wait to get off my work to try it! :embarrassed:)
 
My standard copy arrived today, ordered from game.co.uk. Currently doing the optional install, can't wait to test the new physics with my G25 👍

Still waiting, still no tracking update. Probably told not to dispatch until tomorrow.
 
Argh this wait is killing me. Despatched sunday morning by Play apparently so its pretty unlikely that it'll arrive today :(

On the plus side my housemate also ordered a copy and he got his through Amazon....

Yoinked if it arrives today XD

I go the despatch email for my sig edition from game.co.uk on Sunday nothing happened with the tracking number until yesterday when it returned Express 24 but no information when I clicked on tracking details. Have any other game.co.uk customers got any details when they click tracking details?

Same issue. No update. What is going on?

Should I quickly preorder at HMV for the bonus cars and go to the midnight launch(haha launch :( ) or get it from shopto?

I dont think GAME have even charged me yet.
 
Just to let people know, mine took 43 minutes to install. 👍 Now I'm off to play it!

EDIT: It actually took 50 minutes. It was stuck on "3 seconds remaining" for quite a while. :lol:

Currently on "dispatching soon" with Amazon UK, Collectors 320GB Bundle. Delivery estimate is still the 24th, so assuming they get it dispatched first class before 3pm (i think that's the cutoff time for NDD?) I should get next day delivery, all things being well. :)

It wasn't a dig just different delivery methods for the two might mean that SE orders from Game will be waiting for tomorrow. :nervous:

Not taken as a dig don't worry...I would suggest as I had had experience in the past that the SE will come today aswell but by delivery
 
I just got a text message saying that I can now come and collect my Collector's Edition. Today is my birthday so this could not get much better! I didn't expect anything earlier than tomorrow. :):):)
 
Mine has just dropped through the letter box. There is a 133mb update which I've just downloaded. I'm also off work today with a stomach bug.

I've kicked off the install, so it may be some time until I start some racing.

What a great birthday present for you Nielsen :)

Who did you order from? It seems that we play.com customers will not get it today :(

Same here, ordered the sig edition from game. tracking info is non existent, although it does acknowledge that they have an order for me for "24 express delivery" but it's been at that for at least 36 hours.
Was really hoping it would come today but doubt it will, but I'm not leaving the house before 6 o'clock just incase...
