Well today, I got a new PS2. I am so happy, and my life is back.
And, its a SCPH-50001. Its so quiet, and its reads very quickly. I paid only $180. but it was well worth the money.
Well, Im gonna enjoy my life.

I was testing my ****ty SCPH-350001 before I got this one, it would only read my Playstation 1 games. So, My mom asks me if I would like a new PS2 ( Just because my sister is getting a Gamecube. ) So, thats what happened.

IMO I'd rather get the GC version, Link is a much better character to play as rather than Heihachi.

Yup, and apparently the GCN version runs a lot smoother. The controls seem a bit better from what I've played too.

Why didn't you just clean the lense on the old one and get an XBox?

I heard that the new one has infrared reciever for the DVD remote, but no iLink ports.

The newer PS2s don't have a iLink port.
