I don't need to download any music to know that he isnt a good artist. I hear him all the time on the radio and tv. Rapping about "hoes n *****es n rims" went out of style in the 80's. But there is a similarity there, his hair style went out the same generation

No pun intended, I just think him\95% of the mainstream rap suck. Especially the songs that get radio play, someone should shoot these radio stations for playing such crap. :trouble:

Well hey some peeps like him juste like me and [ssg]sam we listen to those type of music all the time

Just 95% of mainstream rap? I'm convinced that once anybody becomes mainstream, they're done for

Yeah, the key word, however, is music, not noise!

What do the Rolling Stones have to do with Ludacris? That is the Rolling Stones tongue logo, isn't it?

I don't really like the "LUDACRIS" text or the grid background, but the rest is nice.

Oh wait. you said "peeps." Never mind. Carry on.

There are a few people that are mainstream that havent brought shame upon their names yet.

50 cent, Xzibit, Royce Da 5'9, Wu Tang, Copywrite78, and couple others. But I'm getting sick of hearing that one song by 50 cent 800 times a day

This has gone hugely off-topic, and has become more of a discussion about Ludacris.

Off to the Music forum with it then!

I think 50 Cent is becoming dangerously close to mainstream "pop rap". Ludacris, Ja Rule, and Nelly are already too mainstream and it shows in their recent songs. I agree that In Da Club and Wanksta are being played way too much, it almost becomes annoying to hear those songs by 50 Cent.

Before he got a real deal he was one of the best out, now hes got that mainstream virus. "Yea, I'm signed I don't need to make good music now"

I made a remix to his song, its in my signature called In The Ride

Oh, so I should like someone just because they make loads of money? You shouldn't judge people like that man, that is really dumb. Sounds familiar eh?

nope that was not what i was saying but since all you peeps are so negative well just never mind

Basic idea of what you meant was, he makes loads of money off his music so he must not suck that bad.

But in reality he is one of the worse rappers ever.. I mean him and vanilla ice are on the same playing field

What does making money in leaps and bounds have to do with producing good music? I'm sure he's better than I at what he does, but I bet I'm better than him at what I do. My point? My point is that being caught into the net of manufactured, plastic coated, radio wave bubble gum usually doesn't have an ounce of substance in it's product, but rather, it just fits the current (or past) trend that makes producers and CEO's of large music companies their bank roll. Turn on the radio.... Need I say more?

Sorry, I'm not attacking you or your opinion, but generally speaking, I'm tired at what I hear on on mainstream "music". My ears need to hear something freash, something original, something musical that actually means something wheither it makes them a star or not. If an artist pushes the music out for the sake of the music and makes a few bucks along the way, great for them. It's the poster musicians that cant write a song to save their life, but they fit the part...., and the only reason their still in the business is to play the games that need to be played to make a buck.

Anyhow, enough of my rant.

Oh and..., yeah...nice desktop. ;)
