My mad Fiat 500 has gearbox issues...

I bought a Fiat 500, and tuned it from 80hp to 225, but now it only hits 100 mph top speed? Is something wrong with the gearbox?

My fiat 500 hit 235 or 240 km/h about 146 mph but it's tuned for race and not for drag, i use a 6 fully custom gearbox, but i've 269 HP not 225 and a weight of 853.

Yes you have to buy it, all your horespower upgrades are meant to make your car faster but you haven`t change its topspeed so far with a regular gearbox! Even a short 6 gearbox won`t do that much in many cars.
If you hit max BHP for a car I always recommend a adjustable gearbox.

Had a similar problem with a truck - cant remember the model - won in the license.

Fully tuned up and found it kept bouncing off the rev limiter - put the stock gearbox back in and it fixed it.

Changed the gearbox and now can beat Ferrari's and Zonda's in cornering, with 135mph top speed. Pretty insane I tell ya, 225bhp in a 853kg Fiat.

111r rm is 315hp 720kg and its right wheel drive.
