Lucky Its winter here, but its un seasonably warm, is like 50 degrees Farenheit here, its usually about maybe around freezing!

Yeah, agreed. The games suck, but this thing has practically replaced my iPod with the music functionality. And watching movies and South Park on it rocks.

It's the software that makes the PSP work. Like PCs use Windows, etc.

None of these game suck so I'm confused on what you mean. and this isnt even the best it has to offer. If I say the Wii games suck you'd be all over me.... right now I'm enjoying GBA games.

Of course I would, there's a difference. The Wii has been out for exactly a month. The PSP? A mere 2 years.

What does its time being out have to do with it? There have been many new games that dont suck for psp. My point being many games you haven't played VS many games I havent played.

Firmware is more like the BIOS for a computer. Its read only Memory, and is stored via an integrated circuit. Changing firmware changes how the hardware works and interacts with the software, and is far more thorough than downloading a patch for an OS.

On the subject of recieving PSP's, I have an anouncement, I am now a PSP owner!! It was only the base pack but I got "Grand Theft Auto, Liberty City Stories", and "Midnight Club 3, DUB Edition". I just bought a 1 gig memory stick and I cant remember having so much fun.

Midnight Club is a great game with horrible loading times, but after a while it seems normal. I re started the game with the 64 Impala and that car difts so easy with the drift factor all the down.

I passed on GTA:LCS and got Vice City Stories when it was $20 off on sale.

i love my psp, i'm trying to downgrade it to 1.5 so i can get emulators to work on it, i'm also trying to get it online, i'm having troubles

RR2 is a great game if you've never played the first one. i'm not worried about downlaoding. I'm happy with the 2.80 GBA emulator. It also playes Doom games.
Good to see new psp own hopefully you'll enjoy it but if you dont thats life.

Had mine since May 05 and I love my PSP, its perfect for my job and i get the most out of it. Even came in handy standing in line for 51/2 hors to get a ps3

Check the previous post for game recomendations. I have a few if you tell me what type of games you like.

i tried to downgrade my psp to 1.5 today, but i used the wrong one for my psp and screwed the system up, now it won't start and we're going to get it fixed... hopefully it's only minor and won't cost too much, i think it's just that the Firmware's screwed up.

I don't think it's fixable... I think they call that "brick" when you turn it on and there is just blank in your PSP that's why I will never ever downgrade my PSP until Sony make their official PSX emulators
