I found a preying mantis once that size. We kept it in a jar and it would never eat anything. So we put it out on a little tree and maybe a day later we went out there and it like had its body eaten by something.

Update : I just witnessed the preying mantis take out a lizard, yes thats right I said lizard, not a cricket or a roach but a lizard! well it was pretty small to begin with.

picture this, you have a baby lizard and a full grown one. The one that the mantis ate was in between.

Anyways, I throw him in there and nothing happens, so i go and play sonic..like 45 min later, my room mate goes and checks up on him and yells out "the mantis got something in his grasp"! so i go to him and see nothing, and looked on the bottom of the jar and notice there was a skull....only the skull of the lizard!

So I was all hyped up and pissed at the same time because I couldnt witness the whole process. i ran outside and caught another lizard, this time a full grown one. Its been in there for 3 days. Skin peeling off and tail is cut off, meaning its been attacked multiple times, and everytime I look at the mantis hes always "watching" over the lizard, as if hes waiting for it to weaken, then atk.

oh and if you think this is cruel, go to a reptile shop and watch rabbits and mice get pwn3d

Well Josh I'm sorry to hear that, I know what it's like to loose a pet.

Well for my dog can beat all of your pets put together. For those who know their dogs he's a Russian Borzoi who costs about £800 brand new (but we rescued him from a freind - long story). He can't beet all of your dogs, because as you will see in the picture he's massive (I'm 5 ft 7"). If you want he can sleep all day, he can out run an athelete (no joke he has actually done it and easily) he isn't to keen on goin for walks (he'll only go about 10 metres down the road before he stops dead and then you have to drag him if you want to go anywhere. So you then have to take him home.). To get him down the park we have to drive him down there in the car. Then he goes on about his buisiness in scaring the cr*p out of the other dogs by chaising after them. The owners usually never see their dogs run so fast when our's is after theirs. So the chase in the park only usually lasts for 5 mins, when Zar (his name) works out the other dogs don't want to play with him. Or if they do they usually think he is a she and try to proceed to hump his leg , which has happened several times.
Our dog also thinks he's invincible. On several occasion now he has run out into the road and literally tried to play with the traffic. Because of the way Borzois are brought up to be like an elegant upper class kind of dog they seem to think the world kind of revovles around them. E.g. he thinking that all the cars will stop for him.
So basically he can CRUSH YOU ALL!!!! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!! .
He's aspiring to become a world dictator .
