It looked like you had problems holding drifts, like you were hesitating before initiation and exit. With my SS you have to be pretty aggressive to get it goin' and keep it there. Be more aggressive with your feint and try your camber at 3(F)/1(R), mines pretty stable like that when you swing hard.

The drifting was sweet, you did the long turn pretty good with the 86, i know how hard it is to get around that in a non awd or lower power fr car.
I didn't like the music it seemed way to Initial D. (I hate Initial D) :yuck:
Other than that your video was good!

WHOA Nissan you've improved a lot 👍 👍 👍
very2 nice video man keep up the good work :)

Yeah, the trueno wouldn't be my choice of car, cause for me it just simply does not have the power, and it was noticable in a couple of the corners entering late (and in one corner you entered late and exited early ), i think just a slight touch of improper racing line and the lack of power there of was the cause of those things. anywho, twas a great vid all the same, hope to see more 👍 :dopey:

Nice vid, wasn't too bad of a run. The only thing I could see wrong was your exits, a lil too snappy, but not bad. Ya get a thumbs up! 👍

nice vid. ever try to hit the um.. not sure what turn youd consider but id say 6? if your looking at the course its like the bottom curve on the far left side. those 2 turns. ever try to hit them as one long one? thats what i normally do in gt3 and i think i mightve seen tri do it in one of those vids. i dunno if an ae86 can power its way that far tho i dunno.. anyways nice vid

hehe, you call it turn 6, i call it turns 9 and 10

ya, i'd echo that remark. I think if those 2 turns were hit, it would have really stuck out in my mind - much like I said to DropTop in her last vid.
The problem is they've made the turn radiuses wider and spaced them out more than they were in GT3. I've been trying to land this pair of turns for the last few days and its way tougher now - my best effort so far in an FR put 3 wheels off on the grass inbetween turns.... :irked:

anyways, good stuff NissanDrifter. Some nice control, looked smooth for the most part. Now the critiquing bit:

as has previously been mentioned, the drifts do start kinda late into the turns. This was most noticeable to me on turn 1, and the final turn. Put lots of feinting into that last turn on the downhill. 👍
Also, I think the angles and length of the drifts through most turns (particularly what I would call turns 2 to 6) could have been a bit greater - granted I havent spent much time in a trueno in GT4, but I think it should be possible.

keep up the good stuff. Looking forward to seeing further improvement,

The problem with that corner is getting finding enough speed to make it through the whole thing. Btw, where did you find that wireframe,TS?

*edit* just thought of a way to make it..

Here, in the environments section

i screen captured them and pieced the bits together in Fireworks
i have some of them available in full in My Photo Bucket
I'm missing a few from that site, but they tend to be tracks that dont really interest me in terms of drifting.

and ya, thats exactly the problem, is the speed. Swift suggested i try doing them in reverse. So this is how I've spent my morning. Going in the reverse direction can hold the drift a tad longer due to the increased entry speeds from coming down the backstraight - but then you have to do the second corner (turn 9 in my diagram) going uphill. I've pulled it off both ways only a handful of times in an FR, and each is really ugly lookin and more often than not has a wall tap or multiple wheel offs.
