My Focus ST has somehow gained 11 hp on it's own. From the dealer with no miles and no upgrades it has 214hp. Mine now has 225hp with no upgrades installed.
Anyone else seeing this?

As far as I'm aware (please somebody correct me if I'm wrong) the increase in power occurs because you have run your engine in.

I think the same thing as Spunwicked does.

I have this Dodge Viper ACR tuned to 1014hp, and after two laps on de la Sarthe, I had 1018hp on the vehicle.

This is not a bug. It's happened to all of my new cars I've driven for a while. It's totally normal.

Great, now I can't use it for the seasonal race. :grumpy:

I know. That's ridiculous isn't it?

Your only options now are to either keep driving it so the car eventually loses power so you can enter again, or buy a new car.

have anyone tried parking it against a wall and just floor it for half an hour, and see if it is actually simulated or purely distance related?

I just love the way people sometimes found out the more realistic factors in gt games through weird experiences. :)

It is one of the only, probably the only racing game ever to simulate this.
You need to run in your cars like real life, and eventually gain and loose hp over the miles. If you run it in properly it is amazingly different then a constantly overreved car.
I love these sences of detail! 👍

@JJ72 i'm doing something similar, but i test with a drift rx7 and regular racing one (stock one too but has different hp levels), with the same upgrades...
Drift RX7 is already more trashed with around 300+kms on both.
