Boo on second car.

Boo on Kurt Busch.
I second that. From what I've seen over the years, even the best operations can only sustain 3 competitive cars over time, while everyone else usually only can field 1-2, depending on the season. With small outfits like Furniture Row, I would think it's more important getting the 78 more competitive before considering expanding the team. Otherwise, you end up with two cars that can barely stay in the Top 35, which ends up being worse in the long run.

I'm 13 and have been a fan for 7 years now. I was at Richmond for my 8th race and maybe my last... I have never been so bored my life. They need to reconfigure the Chase or get rid of it. There is only 12 spots and 25 or so drivers that could make it. There is to much at stake and drivers are not taking chances. I think Degga will be a hit or miss for me. If the race get boring ill just not watch racing anymore. I am not at all a fan of Jr and wish he would just win to shut up the fudging media about him, I don't care how many races it has been since he won and I don't care if it's Hendricks 200th win. Petty won 200 in the 43 car! Where is his bumper sticker! Last thing, I want NASCAR to have all their races on Saturday nights, so if it rains they can put it on Sunday without people having to work on Monday. Imagine Talledega on a Saturday night!
So I'm done complaining, who even listens to a 13 year old anyway? lol

Furniture Row Racing is looking at a second Cup team next year. They are already in talks with Kurt Busch about being their driver for their second car.

I don't have a problem with them running a second car, but Kurt Busch getting the seat? Ugh no thanks.

You and I must have a different definition of racing. Being stuck behind someone because you cant go anywhere else to pass him isnt better racing, its a recipe for punting peopleoff track. Think of gordon and kenseth i believe in kansas. Allowing people to find other places to run I think has taken nascar to a higher level as its no longer just glorified bumper cars but allows strategy, allows for options, lets people use more of the track, etc.

Road course racing is about as single grooove as it gets and drivers pass on them without punting eachother off

The COT is faster in the high line then the old car because keeping your momentum up is much more important with the bigger, boxier car. Combine this with the variable banking at some tracks and you have a problem.

Trying to improve/fix something that was not broke.

NASCAR tried to improve the racing by making it easier to pass, but the problem is now its too easy to pass and fans are complaining about boring races.

Its unfortunate, at least to me, that with Bristol getting it's variable banking getting tore down Kansas is becoming another track to get variable banking.

I really hope the new cars turn out better then the COT. Outside of being very safe, it was a step backwards for NASCAR in many areas.

Yeah kinda like Earnhardt Gannasi Racing.

He might be a head case most of time, but your forgetting he has alot of Talent and he's a past champion. Even know Kasey was supposed to take over the 5 after Martin left, I still think Kurt would have been a better choice for Hendrick despite his feud with 5-time champion Jimmie Johnson.

The only seat Kurt Busch needs is the one in his living room.

That will change his outlook more than being fired from a race team would ever do. Just look at how Steve Wallace didn't wreck anyone after not racing for 3 months.

With that being said, I don't think Furniture Row should be looking to expand their team right now, or for a while.

Usually McMurray and Montoya are somewhere around 15th-20th in points, though McMurray really struggled last season. I think the better comparison would be the group of Fords for Front Row Motorsports. They have been known to switch their drivers around from car-to-car in any given week in order to help the car with the fewest points gain positions. All of them usually bounce around in that 30th-37th place in points, fighting cars like Robby Gordon for that 35th spot.

I would rather see Furniture Row put a new car/team on track next season, even if it struggles, as long as it takes a spot away from a start-and-park team every week.

I think the best case scenario for busch would be for his brother to bring his nationwide team to cup and race for it, but unfortunately that won't happen for a long time.

One of the main reasons I really like them is that they are a single car team. And I agree with outlaw, they 78 hasn't been that great this season and they need to get that car on track before they think about adding a second.

Will be even more fitting if he wrecks everyone at the end of the race and then gets out of the car and races someone on foot to the finish.

Lets just hope he doesn't re-enact the part after the foot race.:nervous:

ARCA race from Talladega in 40 minutes.

That race will make up for the lack of NASCAR series cautions.

I thought it would take at least a year of sub-par driving before she had to relegate herself to this kind of attention-seeking behavior.

Cinco De Mayo Weekend, you'd be foolish not to count on this.

As soon as I see "Beads" in the title, I already knew where this was going

Edit: Turns out the first thing that comes to your mind with "Beads" is not the same as me

Jerry Springer beads. ;)

also,

article
...many bead necklaces are “earned” by women who receive them in exchange for exposing certain body parts.

Those Fords are so fast! And alot of Chevy teams didn't run in final practice, I wonder why?

Is it wrong that had a more explicit, AUP unfriendly vision of Beads? I mean the ones only Quagmire knows about :sly:

Could've sworn they were a seperate organization. it has had some friendly ties though.
