Oh boy. I might just 🤬 on my heart with this restart.

Edit: and finally, ICEYOU can shush up because win 200 for HMS is here.

Congrats Jimmie . . . broke that spell.

Whoa - the way he's throwing that car around now - it's 'Happy Jimmie' now!

Congrats Hendrick, even tho Richard Petty won 200 races in the 43.........

I don't think all his wins came in the 43.

Edit: 192 wins for Richard Petty in the 43. His other 8 came from #41 and #42. #11 has the most wins with 199.

Even know I believe Jeff Gordon deserved to get that 200th win for Hendrick. I'm happy for Jimmie Johnson and whole #48 team. Jeff needs seriously need to step up his game if he wants that fifth championship. PERIOD.

Danica needs 2 or 3 full Nationwide seasons before she moves to Cup. I'm not exactly sure what her plan is, but if shes planning on moving to Cup full time next year it will be a huge mistake

Because the bad luck is his fault.....

he doesn't need to step his game up. he just needs the bad luck to go away. had another top 10 car gone to waste due to cut tires

uh...

was that really needed? How often do you post here compared to them?

Sorry, I must have been in a bad mood when I posted that. I shouldn't have been so sour about it. But I still think posts complaining about how badly people's fantasy picks are doing should be posted in that thread and not here, because they aren't really on topic in this thread.

I'm glad that Jimmie finally got Hendrick's 200th. At least we won't have to read the weekly stories about it anymore! A couple other finishes I found notable: Ambrose managed a top-ten, which I thought was pretty impressive; Logano finally had a decent run, but it took a day when both other Gibbs cars finished in the top 5 for him to finish 10th; and I was shocked to see Keselowski finish on the lead lap after being three laps down at one point.

I also agree with Earth that this race suggests that Danica needs more Nationwide experience. She was pretty much the slowest non-start-and-park car tonight, although it is true that she got a fairly decent finish yesterday in the Nationwide race.

Team Wins =/= Driver Wins

If I was in charge of NASCAR, drivers would be required to have wins and/or championship(s) in Nationwide before they are eligible to compete in the Cup series. Dabbling in other series to get "experience" so you can just dive right into the Cup series is STUPID.

Starting with the races at Charlotte coming up, the side skirts will be 1 inch further off the ground in an effort to reduce downforce and raise the speeds at which cars will lift-off when spun around.

Also mandatory will be the shark fin on all tracks 2 miles or longer which coincides with the above.

I guess NASCAR wants to do this now so they can further understand how it will work on the new cars next year.

Outside of safety, the COT has been a failure in many ways

The drivers never liked to race them, the racing has been poor at best, and the COT bodies all look the same.

Next years cars will hopefully improve all of that

That big guy on Newman's team is D***head for trying to fight Busch.

If someone blew through my office burning rubber I'd be upset too
