Random fact: I call Cole Whitt "Cool Whip" because of the similarities in the driver and product's names.

I'm just waiting for Jr to land that sponsor on the car next

ESPN's feed is messing up on my television. Never seems to mess up with other networks.

Early pits because road courses confuse crew chiefs so much that they plan strategy based on how soon they can pit to make it to the end of the race, which is a terrible idea.

Why must they have super long cautions for a spin, where the driver has long got the car back on track and running?

Edit: Then a caution for debris that someone could have run out on the track and grabbed while the cars were on the other side of the track? Nascar.....

Nascar doesn't have common sense when it comes to road courses. Didn't need full course caution for either of those.

ESPN fails. Rusty Walrus keeps calling Danica Patrick "he".

Rusty also called Piquet Jr. a new road course racer. Then Bestwick and Andy Petree pretty much schooled him on Piquet Jr.

I also laughed at Danica's short lead ending.

Rusty Walrus has no idea what he's talking about. Worst NASCAR commentator ever.

Wasn't there also another guy on ESPN who called Trevor Bayne "Trevor Brain"?

Jacques Villenueve gets beaten off pit road by Danica Patrick

Jacques taken out by some guy who's only known for flipping over during a qualifying run.

Don't know if you saw the race last year, but he pulled a crappy move himself last year doing the same thing, taking out Max in the process. I think of it as karma.

Can we all agree that fox should fire Waltrip and hire Bestwick? lol

That's not how commentary crews work.... You've got to have the ex-driver, ex-mechanic/crew chief, and the analyst with no actual racing experience of any kind.

Damn -_-

EDIT: But that would be an All-star commentary team, though!

Obviously I saw that.

Doesn't make Flipper's move excusable.

Probably not but since I hate Jacque for said move(as well as almost doing again earlier to Ron Fellows), I'm biast so its even now for me.

and of course, NASCAR does nothing and lets Flipper fight for the lead because they don't like it when world class drivers come in and spank the regulars.

:odd:

They didn't do anything to Jacque either last year as far as I know so I don't get what you're saying.

That was probably because Jacques took himself out. Flipper should have gotten a drive through.
