Well, with Stewart and Johnson doing so good I think that the championship would come down to them two, with Stewart winning two in a row. I can't see anybody else (except for Kenseth) competing for the cup.

It's way too early for championship predictions, but that's what I think will happen.

And what would happen if a 3-Time and defending champion crossed paths with 5-time champion for the championship?

Then whichever of them ended up with the most points would have 1 added to their name.

Can you stop with that PLEASE?

They have names, use them.

We're not joking with you when we tell you to STOP.

^ I was going to post the same thing, but it just feels like a broken record at this point.

He set a new NASCAR record: The most times somebody has called a driver's name by the number of championships he has won.

No, the record he's set is most changes of favorite driver in a season and most posters pissed off by doing his many antics.

I'm shocked that I still seem to be the only one who actually has him ignored.

The comedy factor outweighs all other factors imo.

I don't like ignoring posters because you can still see where they post. If the forum software made it so they disappear completely, then I'd have a few on that list.

So even if you were to unsubscribe from that thread, you'd still see them?

If they post in a thread that you go into, you will see where they posted, but instead of their actual post you will see a message that says "You have this user on ignore, blah blah". I'd like for them to be 100% gone.

Okay I'll stop, but only if you admit that Jeff Gordon is the best Driver Nascar has ever seen.

I don't think anyone mentioned this but I was pretty impressed with Casey Mears today. He was consistently running in the top 15-20 all day and ended up finishing 15th for his best finish this season. 👍

I can't believe 4 time and 5 time ran up front for so long but both only came away with a 5th and 6th

They're completely gone when you're using the ipod app.

Just.... stop.... posting.....
You're making me, a Gordon fan, shake my head in disgust as to what you are doing.

I love Jeff Gordon, but I'll disagree on "best has ever seen," especially with the likes of... Cale Yearbrough, Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt Sr., and others. Jeff Gordon is surely among the immortals of NASCAR. Best ever? I don't know.

Congratulations to Clint Bowyer (Cup at Sears Point) and Nelson Piquet Jr. (Nationwide at Road America). NASCAR's back on the oval scene with Trucks, Nationwide(?), and Cup at Kentucky. You like your racing on Bluegrass? If so, get your fill of racing this weekend!

I hope they really do have the traffic figured out for the race Saturday, I still feel bad for the people who went but didn't get to see the race.
