He won't make the chase.

He's too far out on points and he's desperate for a win right now. Even a win won't guarantee him in the Chase. Joey Logano and Kyle Busch already have a foot through the door and Ryan Newman has a shot too. Jeff needs at least two wins to have a realistic chance in my eyes and that just seems ridiculous on his overall form this year.

I missed the race, but Harvick owned Amber Cope. BUT I don't see how people can side with Harvick. The Nationwide series should be a series for people like Amber Cope to learn how to race until, if they ever, get moved up to Sprint Cup.

It doesn't matter if it's the Cup series, F1, or go-karts or power wheels. You've got to be aware of where the leader is on the track and be generous towards them.

Cope changed the outcome of the race with her snail pace.
 
No discussion during the race, huh? Hamlin is in the lead followed by Kahne, Gordon, and Johnson.

ICEYOU, don't jinx any of the Hendrick drivers, or you will be sorry.
 
And again with Gordon making terrible moves. If everyone else is pitting-in under caution, you do the same. Everyone is going to be bunched up anyways, no benefits in staying out when the others aren't.

Gordon is trying anything he can to gain a leg up and everything he tries backfires.
 
Well the track sure is getting cloudy...

BK is running much faster than hamlin at the moment.

Gordon's finish is (once again) irrelevant.
 
Kasy next seasons could be Hendricks top dog if he keeps this up...

I'm alright that Kahne won, even though it puts an enormous blow in Jeff Gordon's Chase chances.

Fun fact: This is Jeff Gordon's third 6th place finish this season.

I'm just worried about it since he is about done at this point.

Hamlin should have won this race. Once again, a race where somebody else should have won, but then they screw up and their chances of winning are done. Same way that Carl Edwards should have won the 2011 Daytona 500, Matt Kenseth this year at Talladega, etc.

Jeff Gordon's been super consistent it's only a matter of time before he gets his 2 wins, makes the chase, and scores his coveted 5th championship, tying Jimmie Johnson. HE WILL MAKE THE CHASE FOR THE CUP.

But not this season as the competition is too much.
 
TNT has almost made me miss ESPN coverage...

...but I'm sure they'll find a way to lower the bar. :grumpy:
