Made my day!

Made my day!

I'll field SRT's in ALMS and probably Chevrolets in Sprint Cup and probably ask Hendrick Motorsports to back me up.

I found that a tremendous race to watch, there were some really great battles. Seeing the 54 and 60 go at it was fun. Kyle is one hell of a driver having a problem like that and still being competitive, heck, even passing cars.

Brad was quite polite with Carl on that restart; Brad could have forced the issue through the esses.

With the 18 and 60 incident, I thought that was 50/50. Carl did ultimately turn Joey around, but Joey seemed to turn in whilst Carl had a nose inside.

After today, I cannot wait for Cup tomorrow.

You're joking, right?

Look at the door handle on Carl's Mustang, looking at it from a distance and from a correct angle creates an illusion. Nascar has really step up it's sticker game.

Never noticed that, neat. Just 1 question... why do a lot of people hate Edwards?

Most of the traditional NASCAR fans hate everyone because they "aren't an Earnhardt".

These are also the same people who don't want a foreign manufacturer in the series.

He comes off as a douche sometimes and he has been wrecking Brad Keselowski whenever Keselowski races him since Keselowski wrecked Edwards in 2009 at Talladega

I personally don't buy into this "nice" image he puts on for a second. When he punked out Kenseth, nearly send Brad into the stands at Atlanta in retaliation to something that was his own fault, and wiped out half the field at Gateway over a small nudge that was the result of getting loose, I believe that's the real Carl.

Rednecks?

Rednecks.

Correction. Earnhardt Snr fans who think Jnr is the son of god.

EDIT How did we miss this  @ Todd Bodine post wreck...

He's the ultimate two-faced pos who needs to wreck people to win, as we just saw.

I would sooner cheer for the Busches than him.

I'd say more, but the ever present moderators would yell at me again.

Would "Good ol' boys" be the proper term here?

I never understood why people used to hate Jeff Gordon as well.

Pat Long from the Flying Lizard Porsche team in the American Le Mans series is racing in a Sprint Cup Car tomorrow at the Glen, that's a bit odd.. And random.

He's raced in the Nationwide Series at Road America previously.

Because he dominated the 90's and early 2000's. But in recent years fans have begun to cheer him on like he's Earnhardt Senior.

I have another term for that type of "race fan", but it's not AUP-friendly. 🤬 Anyway, I was actually surprised to see on-track battling in today's Nationwide race. Maybe there's a glimmer of hope that tomorrow's Sprint Cup race won't be a snoozefest. 👍

It's going to come down to Gordon and Busch on the final restart. I just know it.

I'll love to hear/see your reaction if Jeff doesn't make the chase.

I know it's a long shot but he will make the chase.

You know that Kyle Busch has got half of his 24(?) wins at the next 5 tracks, right?

Wait a second...I thought you were a Gordon fan?

So I have to say that Gordon will make the chase, or I'm not a Gordon fan? I'm only pointing at the statistics board. :dunce:

I'll stop this conversation since you are making no sense (like always).
