Your logic is completely flawed....

And? Super old photo.

Edit: Tree'd.

Whoops wrong picture. My bad. I can't find it now, but someone photoshopped the Chevy SS race car and it looked damn good too! *sigh*

I think it will look a bit like this, just with different grille openings, obviously.

That looks terrible.

The photoshop I mean. Looks like it was done in MS Paint.

Yeah well I would have preferred chevy to use their upcoming Audi inspired Impala instead.

If a new auto maker were to join, I think VW is the most likely contender. VW is hugely profitable, have the money and stability to compete long-term in NASCAR. VW also wishes to crack the US market, a NASCAR programme might compliment that aim.

As for worrying about lights getting ruined, in BTCC they get mangled in every race – that’s what tape was invented for!

Interesting to watch Nationwide practice in the wet, it’s a great novelty.

In NASCAR are the lights not replaced with stickers resembling the lights.

They are indeed, but RACECAR pondered whether NASCAR should use head and tail lights for road courses. There would be increased identity for manufacturers, with different tail light graphics, for example. Even if stickers can try to resemble actual pieces, there is nothing like actual lights.

It would be pretty funny watching the drivers flash the lights to try and distract the driver in front. Classic touring car tactic.

Juan Montoya is on the pole! Good. I hope he picks up a win.

What a beautiful lap that Montoya drove, controlled aggression there. NNS next up.

I'm not worried about him, he'll eventually fade away as the race progresses. I'm more worried about Kyle Busch then anything he's been fast all weekend, and he's now a major threat to Jeff's wild card position. Gordon must win this weekend.

Montoya is great. Be quiet #24 fanboy :p

Dammit, Truex. I root for you and you do things like this. The hell :grumpy:

The piss poor luck continues for Danica today.

EDIT: BK is just walking on them today.

Holy crap, nice save Logano. But really Carl? Bumping the hell out of everyone? Its not 10 laps left yet.

Stupid Edwards is still stupid.

Guess he figured it would be possible to do that to Joey after it failed twice on Kyle.

Funny thing is, the caution has put everyone back together and Joey has about three slow cars to get around before he's back on Carl's bumper. He better not complain if he gets spun, he basically has it coming.

Wait.. NASCAR only counts the short course as having 7 turns? :dunce:

Without looking at the track map, I know the short course has 11 and the boot adds 4 to that number....

They either count the bus-stop as one or none. They said Mexico City had 8.

I think they count the bus stop as none. That's the only way I can come up with 7 corners.

That, or ESPN is full of morons

Stupid Edwards is still stupid.

And then he wins the race. Typical.

Still, Ron Fellows got 5th. I'm okay with that.

Good for Carl. Only took almost spinning someone, actually spinning someone two corners later, and putting someone else in the wall coming to the white flag. Well done.

I like how BK said when the chase starts "it's on". I don't think Brad liked it when Carl pushed him into the wall. BOO EDWARDS...

*cough*Logano*cough*

There's a difference however between being pushed into someone/car in front spinning their tires and just punting them mid corner.
