Scary 🤬. Thank god Montoya is alright.

My thoughts: Transmission blew and got oil on the rear tires causing him to lose control. Jet dryer was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The wall could be damaged too. And all that fuel, chemicals, water, and shrapnel. I doubt we will continue. :(

They just showed the replay of Montoya's last pit stop. Did you see the small fuel leak out of that green fuel cap?

Hard luck for the #42, hopefully he has a better season....
Still rooting for Denny! ^^

I just think, if he heard something vibrate that much he should've slowed a bit more, it just seems like here had enough warning didn't he? Or was it instant?

If it's just safer barrier destroyed they can replace very easily.

It's done. There is no way that there could be a race now. All of the debris, chemicals, damage to the track etc.

Well...we're going to have a pretty interesting top 5 if the race ends right now. xD

Can someone give me a link to a stream?

Well, the rain's likely a non-issue now. But the question is.. is the fence and SAFER barrier.. and more importantly THE TRACK in a good enough condition to race on/with.

Looks like we'll be having more rain at Daytona soon, adding more fuel to an already fiery permanent red flag.

Wow...

In all my years of race spectating, I've never seen anything as bizarre as this... Glad that everyone is OK.

I can't believe what I just saw.

This is so unexpected. It exploded on contact!

How? The race is probably over.

A huge fireball ignites in the proximity of a driver and numerous safety crew members, and all you can do is yell at the driver over the internet and call him a "crazy ****."
