2013 Dodge Charger:

2013 Piece of Fiberglass that says Dodge on it?

That said, I am liking the new body styles much more than the old ones.

Just watched a replay of the Shootout. Wow. So Busch gets to cut across people when he has no room, wrecks them, and then wins? Yeah. What a great man. He still seems like a bit of a prick, and I won't be hoping for him to do well.

I was really hoping that Ambrose would win, but that didn't happen. Ah well.

But after watching this, I think I've found that NASCAR could be more entertaining if Championship points were only awarded to the top 3. They seemed to be less careful when there wasn't points on the line, I'd love to see more of that. Only awarding points to the top 3 in a 5, 3, 2 scoring format would make people a bit less conservative with their cars, maybe.

Hoping the Dodge looks better at a different angle and with some more natural lighting instead of florescent lighting.

I thought i'd be watching the Budweiser Shootout not the Danica this an that :grumpy:

Oh well I suppose the Duels an the 500 will be a Danica Show aswell 👎

Daytona 500 pre-race show is going to be heavy Danica coverage.

Then it will be heavy Danica coverage every lap and if she is wrecked, they will turn to her for her expert opinion on things she's still not an expert on.

Danica only has to be within the confines of the track to get interviewed.

I believe the 2013 Charger gets it's full unveiling in the next few days.

I wonder what the Danica:Junior ratio will be as far as mentions go?

Hopefully the guy on YouTube that usually does it is doing it again this year.

2013 will be so badass. It almost looks like the new Charger was designed for the 2013 Nascar season in mind. It seriously looks like they just took off the rear doors.

I agree. The new cars so far are looking really good:)

Wondering what Chevy is going to use. The Impala is an outdated design and who knows how much longer it will be until they redesign it. Think they'll switch to the Malibu?

Supposed to be a new Impala for '13 or '14. It's already been caught testing on the streets. However they might use the Malibu to cater to some of the Global Nascar audience, since the Malibu is now a global car.

Why dont they use the... Camaro? That seems like a marketing No-brainer to me. Same with the Mustang.

Mustang is being used in the Nationwide series alongside the Challenger. Camaro isn't being used because GM couldn't get the roofline the way they wanted for the Camaro on the NW body.

Cup Series is a marketing tool for family sedans now. Camaro and Mustang don't fit into that and definitely don't need any marketing pushes.

That doesn't make much sense. They market the midsize sedans, or full size in Dodge's case, because that's the most competitive segment. I'm willing to bet the number of Nascar fans who drive family sedans greatly out number the number who are in the market for a 2 door coupe.

Tree'd.

I'm not sure if the Nationwide series will be changing bodies again anytime soon, but they were suppose to be sportier cars. With the Cup cars being closer to the street versions again, I'm surprised the lower division isn't taking those steps as well. The Camaro should be with the Challenger and Mustang if it wasn't for GM being so picky with how the car looks.

Look for Nationwide cars to get a new look for maybe the 2016 season.

I don't know I'd rather see the new impala out there.

Also, in the new Charger photos. Does the '13 car look huge compared to the old car to anyone else?
