I'll be in California watching some drifting and enjoying the ocean, but if I was to stay at home I wouldn't have anything to watch.

Sprint Cup = Off
Formula 1 = Off
V8 Supercars = Off

What exactly is happening this weekend?

Well, there is GT1 World Championship. And thats it...For now.

Since there's no Cup this weekend... how about we discuss all the season so far? Just to generate some discussion:

* Most impressed driver/team/race so far?
* Least impressed driver/team/race so far?
* Biggest surprise(s) so far?
* Best moment(s) so far?
* Worst moment(s) so far?
* Possible championship dark horses (any level of NASCAR)?
* Drivers you want to see win at least one race this season?
* (any other relevant question)?

To answer some my own questions, I have to say that the 2012 Daytona 500 was absolutely crazy. I've been fairly impressed with Danica Patrick as a full-time NASCAR racer. She'll eventually find her consistency and perhaps even win a race in Cup. I've always believed in her and always think she's capable of winning. Maybe not outright or in-your-face, but she can (and will) put up a fight on the track for a petite (she's 5'2"). Worst moment so far... there's two. I saw that wicked wreck in the Trucks race at Daytona where Miguel Paludo had that brutal crash into the outside wall. And just recently, that bone-headed move by Clint Bowyer at Martinsville with the first Green-White-Checker attempt, spinning out Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson.

How about you all?

I think Martin Truex Jr. is a great suprise this year and I hope that he wins a race this year. Kasey Kahne has had bad luck in all of the races so far. Worst moment has to be when Montoya hit the jet dryer

Next to 14 and 24? :confused:

Wonderboy (24), The Dominator (48), Smoke (14), Junior (88), Duck (99), The Killer Bee(17), The Biff(16), Rowdy/Wild Thing (18), and Bad Brad (2) are all a given.

EDIT: Idk about Kurt and Kasey though.

EDIT 2: I wonder if Hamlin and Kurt have nicknames.

I have A favorite driver, not half the field...

I mean come on it looks like an Audi :(

I think it looks a lot like Audi + VW + Nissan + Hyundai. I have not so much issue with the front and side neither the interior but my issue is the rear. I think there has been what, 7 or 8 cars with about that exact same rear - just too familiar!

So, it's going to be a quiet weekend this is. No racing until next week...

Some footage from the Michigan testing.
220 down the straights... I don't think this can possibly end well.......

The front looks like they crossed a Camaro grill with Acura TL headlights. The rear is right off of a Hyundai, isn't it?
