I think I watched a total of around ~10 laps of that race.

NASCAR is getting more and more boring with every race.

Jeff Gordon, come the hell on! You can't afford to have you or your team make mistakes. I understand that he can't control bad luck, but these mistakes keep costing Jeff a good finish or in some cases wins!

Pocono has always been boring. I hardly watch the cookie-cutter tracks either.

I'll watch the whole race next week though...

So nobody has a problem with Logano pushing Mark Martin out of the way instead of passing him with dignity?

Mark would have never raced Joey like that. And I've seen Mark Martin finish 2nd and lose many races because he never pulled a dirty move like that on anyone

It's called the bump-and-run. Joey gave Mark a small push/tap, where instead he could have outright wrecked Mark.

Joey barely touched Mark, just enough to move him off the bottom. He executed a perfect bump & run at Pocono. Nothing wrong with that. It's good, hard racing. Even Mark said it in his post-race interview.

If you hadn't won a race in 3 years (a rain-shortened race) and was fighting for your job, you'd have done the same thing. Anyone would. If not, they don't need to be in that ride anyway.

Edit: Also, that's a good excuse to why Mark has never won a championship. Simply not aggressive enough. Not dirty, aggressive.

Mark sure didn't seem to have a problem with it and even acknowledged it as "Hard Racing", though I'm hearing Joey actually pulled up on his bumper and got him aero loose to pass him.

Taking the air out from someones rear to get them slightly loose isn't wrong, and even the nicest of drivers have been known to do that.

Joey had the pace Mark didn't in the end and that was further proven as Joey openned the gap on him. It isn't a dirty move, and though you comment in here frequently I would be willing to bet you watch alot more open wheel racing. This is usually a uproar to those who are stuck in the open wheel mindset.

It was aero loose Wally and Kyle were wrong, if you saw it from another angle he didn't bump/run him.

Awesome race. So glad to see Logano win. I wouldve been irate if Martin won, cant stand that indecisive old idiot. That was the best NASCAR race in quite a while, they did a brilliant job with the repave.

I only saw the last 50 laps, but that was mainly because I didn't feel like getting up at 3.00am to watch the entire thing.

I didn't think it was that boring at all.

I was at the track, didn't find any of the race boring! In fact, it was very exciting from my point. Happy my favorite won today, he deserved the win! :)

Also, someone was asking me to stay mobile and update at the track but my phone doesn't have connections to web sites, sadly.

Kinda bummed I missed this, I like Logano so glad to see him get a win. He hasn't had a win since 2008 right?

Going to the race is so much better than watching it on TV. That's why I always tell NASCAR haters to actually attend a race and not judge it by what they see on TV.

Back to my madness as usual:

Just like the media, some people can't leave well enough alone, no surprises there.

I honestly tried to watch the race last night (delayed) but actually ended up paying more attention to the F1 thread in here, and F1 twitter gossip than the race. Have to agree this was one boring race.

I'm a little concerned with the aero package for next year and whether side-by-side racing will be less of a feature and it will be easier to pass slower cars. We'll see.

Slightly OT, but I saw a #22 Discount Tire truck and trailer at the Adrian Discount Tire. I assume that there was a demo Nationwide car in the trailer. I also saw a motorhome getting diesel which I never saw before. I think it was probably heading to MIS.

On topic- I would love to see either JG, BK, or Jr. win this race. Jeff and Dale are both due for a win, and it's always nice to see the native win at their local racetrack.

There was a Truex Jr. NAPA Sprint Cup Car at a NAPA place near me not too long ago.

I think it was a Cup Car.
I've also seen his brother, Ryan Truex, race at Lime Rock Park in a lower NASCAR Series a few years ago, and I think that was before he was in Nationwide.

ahahaha I lol'd so much during that

1:47 - 2:05 is sooo funny!

Glad to see someone liked it. Would've done it last week, but the Hospital visit kinda took priority. I have many more planned like that, mostly for Monster Energy athletes.

Someone should ask Kurt if the sugar rush makes him "Monster" up. But that video was great!!!!👍

I read that while drinking Monster Energy... definitely not the healthiest thing in the world but it tastes pretty good. Only drink it once a week, and no more than once a week.
