Not really overpowered. Cup cars are standard at about 700-850 HP. You need to have at least one anyways for the event.

The cars have bad physics and the engine sound seems off.

Engine sound is actually close, but it sounds like they aren't revving the whole way. And the tranny whine is to be expected from a racecar.

The sound is terrible! Don't give NASCAR advice if your not a fan

Sorry, i mean overpowered in the lap times :)
I dont think they can go as fast as they do it in gt5.
At DTM Final Hockenheim, i saw a Red Bull Nascar, on the straight it was pretty sick, but in the corners I would go faster with a Fiat 500...
 
I actually went back to the FR challenge last night and did it with my Joey Logano Fantasy car and had an absolute blast and thought it handled very well on the turns. What a great time.
 
They run restrictor plates at Daytona in real life so you should should be able to go faster than real ones on that track.
